Türkiye`de kadın istihdamının tarihçesi ve kadın istihdamını artırmak için yürütülen politikalar

Abstract

Sürdürülebilir kalkınma çabalarının en önemli amaçlarından biri, kadınların işgücü piyasasına katılımını artırmaktır. Bu yüksek lisans tezi, Türkiye'deki kadınistihdamının tarihi gelişimine ve kadın istihdamını artırmaya yönelik politikalara yenibilgiler sağlayarak katkıda bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada öncelikle kadın iş gücü veistihdamına ilişkin teoriler açıklanmaktadır ve kadın istihdamının tarihsel gelişimi analizedilmektedir. Eğitim, yaş, medeni durum, cinsiyetler arası ücret düzeyi farklılıkları gibikadın istihdamını etkileyen faktörlere değinilmektedir.Sunulan bu çalışmada, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu'ndan (TUİK) varılan istatistikiverilere dayanılarak Türkiye'de kadın istihdamının yapısal durumu ile ilgili bilgilerverilmektedir. Türkiye'de kadın istihdamını çoğaltmaya özgü ulusal ayrıca uluslararasımevzuata çalışmada yer verildikten sonra, Kadın Statüsü ve Sorunları GenelMüdürlüğü'nün (KSGM), Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, SGK, İŞKUR vb.kurum ve kuruluşların bu yönde hayata geçirdikleri projeler incelenmektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: kadın istihdamı, girişimcilik, kadın iş politikaları

One of the most important objectives of sustainable development efforts is toincrease women's participation in the labor market. This master's thesis is contributingto the historical development of female employment in Turkey and on policies toincrease women's employment by providing new information. In this study primarily,theories on female labor force and employment are explanied and the historicaldevelopment of the female employment is analyzed. Therefore, factors such aseducation, age, marital status, gender differences in wage level are discussed.In this study, informantions are given about structural situation of womenemployment in Turkey based on statistical data obtained from Turkish StatisticalInstitute (TUSI). The study was discussed about the national and international legislationaimed to increasing female, employment occurred in Turkey. For this study, the projectsimplemented by the General Directorate of Woman's Status and Problems (GDWSP),Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MLSS), Social Security Institution (SSI) andEmploymen Agency (EA) have also been examined.Keywords: women employment, entrepreneurship, women business policies
