İlmenit konsantresinden titanyum dioksit pigmentinin eldesi ve sanayiye uygulanması

Abstract

Dünyanın titanyum dioksit pigmenti ihtiyacının giderek artmaktadır. Bununla birlikte ilmenit cevherlerinden TiO2 pigmentinin saf olarak kimyasal eldesi, bu yöntemin sanayiye uygulanmasının incelenmesi gerekliliği giderek önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, bu ayrıntılar araştırılmıştır.Bu tezde, ilmenit minerali ve TiO2 pigmenti ile ilgili genel özellikler, bulunduğu yerler , ülkemiz ve dünya için önemi belirtilmiş; ilmenit mineralinden TiO2 pigmenti eldesi olanakları araştırılmıştır. Belirtilen deney koşullarında sülfat ve klorid prosesleri uygulanmıştır. Analizler sonucunda sülfat metodu uygulanmasının daha uygun olacağı görülmüştür. Deneysel çalışmalar sonucu elde edilen TiO2 pigmentinin verileri, Western Australian ilmenit konsantresinden elde edilen TiO2 pigmenti verileri ile karşılaştırılmıştır.Titanyum dioksit dünyada en geniş çapta kullanılan beyaz pigmenttir. Ülkemiz ilmenit cevherleri bakımından zengin olup, diğer dünya ülkeleri arasında ön sıralarda bulunmaktadır. Bu cevherin değerlendirilmesinin ülkemiz ekonomisine önemli katkı sağlayacağı düşünülebilir.

The need of titanium dioxide of the world is increasing day by day. Besides, the need of investigation of the application to the industry by the chemical possession of TiO2 pigment as pure by ilmenite is increasing,too.In this thesis, the general features of ilmenite and TiO2 pigment and their importance for our country and the world are emphasized; also, the possibilities of TiO2 pigment by ilmenite are investigated. Throughout the conditions of the experiments, the processes of sulfate and cloride are applied. At the end of the analysis, it is understood that the application of sulfate-method is more suitable. It is also understood that TiO2 pigment is possessed according to the experimenta datum. The datum of TiO2 pigment, possessed from ilmenit concentration of Western Australian, is compared with this datum.Titanium dioxide is world-wide-most-used white pigment. Our country has rich ilmenit resources, and so is ahead of other world countries. İt is clearly seen that utilization of this substance will contribute to our country?s economy.
