Abstract
117 - SUMMARY In a study titled `The Early Examples of Photographic Techniques and Sun Prints`, examining the history of photography was inevitable. There fore the technical developmaned of photography has been examined under the subtitles of: `Light Sensitivity, Early experiments, Thomas Wedgweed, The Camera Image, The Camera Obscura, Retaining the Image, Niepce, Heliegraphy, Daguerre, Partnership with Niepce, Daguerre's Progress, Official Recognatlon, Dissent, Talbot, Photogenic Drawings, Talbotype, Bayard and Others, Other Claimants, The Daguerreotype Era, Expansion, Improvements, Portraiture, A New Industry, The Talbot Heritage, David Octavlus Hill, Bianquart-Evrard and Significance of Photography`. The reason of gathering certain printing techniques under the title of `Sun Prints`, is their utilisation of sun as a relatively stable and powerfull source of light.
