Bir Riemann manifoldunun bazı özel altmanifoldları

Abstract

Bu çalışma dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm giriş için ayrılmıştır.İkinci bölümde diferensiyellenebilir manifoldlar ile ilgili temel kavramlar verilmiştir.Üçüncü bölümde, Riemann manifoldunun altmanifoldunda bir Z -vektör alanı ile ilişkili Z-umbilik, total Z-geodezik ve Z-minimal altmanifoldlar gibi, altmanifoldların bazı özel türleri sunulmuştur.Ayrıca, ve nün Riemann manifoldunun hiperyüzeyleri olduğunu varsayarak, eğer I. ve II. temel formları koruyan den ye bir diffeomorfizm ise o zaman nin hiperyüzeylerin Z-umbilik, total Z-geodezik ve Z-minimal özelliklerini koruduğu gösterilmiştir.Son bölüm tartışma ve sonuç için ayrılmıştır.Anahtar kelimeler: Riemann manifoldu, Z-umbilik, total Z- geodezik ve Z-minimalaltmanifoldlar.

This thesis consist of four chapters. The first chapter is reserved for introduction.The basic concepts about differentiable manifolds are given in the second chapter.In the third chapter, some special type of submanifolds such as Z-umbilical, totally Z-geodesic and Z-minimal submanifolds associated with an -vector field Z on a submanifold of a Riemannian manifold are presented.In addition, supposing and are hypersurfaces of a Riemannian manifold it is shown that if is a diffeomorphism from onto and preserves the first and second fundamental forms then preserves the Z-umbilical, totally Z-geodesic and Z-minimal properties of the hypersurface.The final chapter is reserved for discussion and conclusion.Key words: Riemannian manifold, Z-umbilical, totally Z-geodesic and Z-minimalsubmanifolds.
