Ortaokul bilişim teknolojileri dersinin öğrenci görüşleri ve ders etkinlikleri bağlamında incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın genel amacı, ortaokul bilişim teknolojileri dersinin öğrencigörüşleri ve ders etkinlikleri bağlamında incelenmesidir. Araştırmada nitelaraştırma yöntemlerinden gözlem ve görüşme yöntemleri kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın örneklemi 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Hatay ili Kırıkhanilçesinde bulunan 9 ortaokulda öğrenim gören 30 ortaokul öğrencisi ve gözlemyapılan 10 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak açıkuçlu 15 sorudan oluşan `Görüşme Formu` ile 5 maddelik `Gözlem Formu`kullanılmıştır. Araştırma fenomenolojik desene dayalıdır. Veri analizinde içerikanalizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlardan bazıları şunlardır:Ortaokul öğrencilerinin bilişim teknolojileri dersinden en çok beklentileri internetve bilgisayar kullanımında başarılı olmaktır. Öğrenciler bilişim teknolojileridersini günlük hayatta kullandıkları ve geleceklerinde etkili olacağınıdüşündükleri için önemli görmektedirler. Öğrenciler bilişim teknolojileri haftalıkders saatini yetersiz bulmaktadırlar. Öğrenciler bilişim teknolojileri dersindeöğrendiklerini diğer derslerde de kullandıklarını düşünmektedirler. Gözlemsonuçlarına göre bilişim teknolojileri öğretmenlerinin kullandığı yöntemlerden ençok uygulama yaptırmaları ve video/slayt izletmelerini etkili bulmaktadırlar.Bilişim teknolojileri ders kitabı okulların hiçbirinde bulunmamaktadır.Öğretmenler dersleri kendi sağladıkları materyaller ile işlemektedirler.Anahtar Kelimeler: Ortaokul öğrencileri, Bilişim teknolojileri dersi, Bilişimteknolojileri dersi öğretmenleri, Gözlem ve Görüşme.

The aim of this study is to investigate the secondary school informationtechnologies course in terms of students' views and classroom activities.Observation and interview methods were used in the research. The sample of thestudy consists of total of 30 students and 10 teachers attending to 9 secondaryschools in Kırıkhan District Hatay City at 2015-2016 academic year. In theresearch `Interview Form` including 15 open-ended questions and `ObservationForm` with 5 items were used as data collection tools. The research is based on thephenomenological design. Content analysis was used to analyze data. Some of theresults obtained in the research are as follows: Students mostly expect from theinformation technologies course to be successful in the use of the internet andcomputers. Students declare that the information technologies course is importantbecause they use technology in daily life and think that technology will be effectivein their future. According to students the weekly hours of information technologiescourse are insufficient. Students emphasize that the most effective methods used bythe teachers are watching video and slides. Students think that they use theknowledge which they learn in information technologies course in other courses.Observations show that the information technologies course book is not availableat any of the schools.
