1135/1722 tarihli sicil defterine göre Trabzon`un sosyal tarihi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temelini oluşturan 1882 / 68-1 numaralı Trabzon Şer'iyye Sicilindemevcut kayıtlardaki bilgiler siyasi, sosyal ve ekonomik yönden yorumlanarak XVIII. yüzyılınilk çeyreğinde 1722-1723 yılları arasında, sahip olduğu coğrafi konumu sayesinde ticari yollarüzerinde önemli bir liman olan Trabzon şehrinin sosyal ve ekonomik yapısı incelenmeyeçalışılmıştır. İncelediğimiz dönemin kısa ve belge sayısının az olmasına rağmen Trabzon'unsosyal dokusu (sosyal tabakalaşma, Müslim ve gayrimüslim münasebetleri, aile, miras vetoplumsal olaylar) ve ekonomiye yönelik her türlü alt yapısını oluşturan ticari faaliyetler(toprak sistemi, şehrin ticari ve sanayi yönünden durumu, halkın geçim kaynakları vemeslekleri, vergi gelirleri ile vakıfların şehrin gelişimindeki etkisi vb.) hakkında verilenbilgiler şehrin bugünkü sosyal ve ekonomik durumunun nasıl şekillendiği hususunda belli birfikir edinmemize yardımcı olacaktır.

The informations which perform the basics of this study, are at Trabzon Şer?iyyeRegistry with 1882 / 68-1 number are interpreted in the form political, social and economic.The city of Trabzon?s which is an important port on commercial ways because of itsgeographical position in the first quarter of 18th century between 1722-1723, social andeconomic structures are tried to research. In spite of short and little documents concerning theperiod that we researched, commercial activities (land system, situation of the city accordingto the commerce and industry, living means of the people and their careers, tax incomes withthe effect of the foundations to develop the city, etc.) which perform all kind of sub-structuresoriented social configuration (social scale, Muslim and non-Moslem relations, family,heritage and social events) and economy informations help us to take ideas about shapedtoday?s social and economic situations.
