Abstract
Polisiye roman neredeyse yüz yetmiş seneden beri var olan bir edebiyat türüdür ve günümüzde adli tıp bilimlerinde ve teknolojide yaşanan gelişmeler sayesinde elde edilen veriler dedektiflik öykülerinin gelişmesinde çok etkili olmuştur. İspanyol polisiye edebiyatında 1970'li yıllarda Franco'nun ölümünden hemen sonra başlayan kara roman tarzı ile İspanyol yazarlar da kendi tarzlarını yaratma imkânı bulmuşlardır. Bu dönemin polisiye romanlarında araştırmacı karakterler ülkenin silahlı kuvvetlerinde çalışan kişilerden oluşur. Lorenzo Silva gibi yazarlar polisiye roman serilerinde ana karakterin yanında ikinci bir kişiliği yani yardımcı bir karakteri eklemişlerdir. Bu dedektif çiftleri sayesinde doksanlardan itibaren İspanyol toplumunun ne şekilde değiştiğini ve kadınların hem iş dünyasında hem de silahlı kuvvetlerde ne kadar önem kazandığını görebiliriz. Bu çalışmanın amacı yardımcı karakter Virginia Chamorro aracılığıyla bu değişikliği yansıtmak ve bir kadının erkeklerin egemen olduğu bir teşkilatta olayların çözümlenmesinde ne şekilde yardımcı olabildiğini gösterebilmektir. Virginia Chamorro'nun gelişimi dört roman boyunca incelenmesi ve bu gelişimin Greimas'ın üç deneyim kuralı temel alınarak sınıflandırılması ve anlatı durumuna göre incelenmesi araştırmanın içeriğini oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada incelenen konular bu yardımcı karakterin her romanda ortaya çıkışı, fiziksel ve karakter özelliklerinin yansıtılması, iş hayatı ve ikili arasındaki gerek iş gerekse arkadaşlık ilişkisinin yansıtılması ile ilgili bilgilerdir. İspanyol jandarma teşkilatında bir kadının dedektif olma niteliğine ne ölçüde sahip olduğu çalışmanın ana konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Detective novels have almost 170 years of history. Nowadays, the data and the knowledge, acquired by the new developments in forensic medicine and technology, have a big impact on the development of the detective novels. Spanish writers also had the opportunity to create their own way by the black novel style in Spanish detective novels that started just after the death of Franco in 1970?s. The detective characters in this period?s detective novels are among the people who work in the armed forces of the country. Authors such as Lorenzo Silva are added a second character, the auxiliary character, besides the main character in detective novel series. We can see how the women became important both in business world and in armed forces, and we can see how the Spanish society changed in 90?s thanks to these detective couples. The objective of this study is to reflect this change and show how a women help to analyze the events in a men-dominant organization, through the auxiliary character Virginia Chamorro. Examining the development in the character of Virginia Chamorro in 4 novels, classifying this development according to the 3 experience rule, and examining the development according to the narration constitute the content of this study. The appearance of this auxiliary character Virginia Chamorro in each novel, the physical and characteristic features of the character, and the relationship between the main character and the auxiliary character in both the professional life and the friendship aspects are the data that are examined in this study. The main subject of this study is to examine the qualifiedness of a woman who is working as an inspector in Spanish gendarme forces.
