Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı; iskeletsel III. sınıf anomali gösteren bireylerden cerrahi öncesi ve tedavi sonrasında elde edilen sefalometrik radyografilere dayanarak; Quick Ceph 2000 (Q.C.2000) ve Vistadent OC öngörü programları aracılığı ile elde edilen tedavi sonu öngörülerinin, hastaların gerçek tedavi sonu profili ile karşılaştırılması ve bu programların güvenilirliğinin değerlendirilmesidir. Bu amaçla; ortognatik-cerrahi yöntemler ile tedavi edilen 45 adet sınıf III olguya ait cerrahi öncesi ve tedavi sonrası dönemlerde elde edilen lateral sefalometrik radyografiler kullanılarak Q.C.2000 ve Vistadent OC. programları aracılığı ile yumuşak doku öngörüleri oluşturulmuştur. Tedavi sonrası profil görüntüleri üzerinde belirlenen yumuşak doku noktalarının horizontal ve vertikal düzlemlere olan mesafesi ile Q.C.2000 ve Vistadent OC programlarında oluşturulan yumyşak doku profil öngörülerine ait yumuşak doku noktalarının horizontal ve vertikal düzlemlere olan mesafesi birbirleri ile karşılaştırılmış ve çalışmada kulanılan programlar ile gerçeğe uygun öngörü yapılıp yapılmadığı değerlendirilmiştir.Çalışmanın sonucunda; her iki bilgisayar programında da güvenilir öngörüler oluşturulduğu fakat her iki bilgisayar programında oluşturulan öngörülerde, özellikle dudaklar bölgesine ait yumuşak doku noktalarında, tedavi sonu radyografiler ile karşılaştırıldığında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. The purpose of this study was to compare the post treatment prediction results of Quick Ceph 2000 and Vistadent OC prediction programs with the actual profiles of individuals with skeletal Cl III malocclusion, based on there cephalometric radiographs that were collected preoperatively and after end of the treatment, and to asses the reliability of these two software?s.For this aim, pre-operative and post treatment cephalometric radiographs derived from 45 patients with Cl III malocclusion treated with Orthognathic surgery methods were used to generate soft tissue profile predictions with Quick-Ceph and Vistadent programs.Distance from assigned soft tissue landmarks to the vertical and horizontal planes on post treatment profile images were compared with soft tissue prediction results of Quick Ceph 2000 and Vistadent OC programs, and the prediction reliability of these two software?s was examined compared to the real results. As a result, it was concluded that reliable prediction results can be obtained with both of these softwares, however when compared with post treatment cephalometric radiographs there was statistically significant difference in the meaning of lip soft tissue points.
