Abstract

Same austenitic stainless steels like 304 stainless steelshave the sensibility to corrosion near the welded zone. In thisresearch, the relations between the sensibility of corrosion and thewelding process have been investigated. In order to define thisrelation, welded specimens made out of 304 quality of stainless steelhave been prepared. The behaviours of the corrosion at the welded zonehave been investigated in the various acidic conditions.
