Çukurova koşullarında, iki pamuk çeşidinde (G. hirsutum L.) farklı ekim şekillerinin verim ve verim unsurlarına etkisi üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

This study was conducted to invpstigate the effectsof the different sowing systems on the yield and yield compr!nents, of ttvC) cotton varieties under Çukurova conditions.It was determined that tha highest seerl-cotton yield wasobtained from the variety Lambri1ht 510 O~S sown in skip-rowsystem with 20 cm spacing within the row. In addition, itwas also found that the varieties studied differed from eachother in sEed-co~ton yield, and th~ variety Lambright 510ONS gave higher yield than Acala 3080 The varieties responded diffrrently to changingplant density, and the yieldsof the variety Lambright 510ONS under differEnt nlant density were not significantlydiffe=ent whilr the yield of the variety Acel 3080 wasecreased by increA~inl the plant density.Increasing the plant density increased plant height,decreesed the numhers of monopodial and Sympodial branches,the numbers of bolls per plant, weight of seed-cotton perboll, and did not affect lint percentage and I00 Seed weight.
