Abstract
Son bölümde ise ikinci ve üçüncü bölümde yapılan uygulamaların sonuçlan üzerinde durulmuştur. rx ABSTRACT Robots have a lot of advantages such as high precision, high speed and ability of working in dangerous environments. The aim of this thesis, named `Kinematic and Control of Robots`, is to explain basic principles of robotics and to perform a robotic control simulation. As a new study, trajectory following of a three degree of freedom robot has been performed by using sliding mode control and it has been shown that this control method could be used in such systems. In the first chapter, the studies about robots and sliding mode control have been reviewed. In the second chapter, basic principles of kinematic and dynamics of robots and control have been explained. Also PID and Sliding Mode controls have been explained as controllers. In the third chapter, joint torques of two and three degree of freedom robot arms have been found, by using these principles. Then, sliding mode control has been applied to three degree of freedom robot arm whose joint torques had been found and results are discussed. At the last chapter the results of these applications have been discussed.
