Abstract
Anahtar kelimeler: Pestisit, istavrit balığı, midye, gıda güvenliği, Marmara Denizi In this study, horse mackerel (Trachurus sp.) and mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis) (LAMARCK, 1819) samples that were collected monthly between October-2010 and October-2011 from four stations as Bosphorus, Bandırma, Gelibolu, Tekirdağ in Marmara Sea where is around significant settlement, industrial and agriculturel areas and exposed to contamination with pesticides that significantly threats animal and human health were analyzed.α-Endosulphane and heptachlor concentrations in horse mackerel and mussel samples obtained from all stations were not detected. While the highest average annual total-DDT, total-HCH, endrin, β-endosulphane concentrations among the stations were found 16; 6,99; 0,13; 0,29 ng/g (wet weight) for horse mackerel, the concentrations were found 78; 1,97; 0,05; 0,04 ng/g (wet weight) for mussel respectively. The highest average annual PCB 28, PCB 52, PCB 138, PCB 153 and PCB 180 concentrations were detected 0,85; 1,23; 2,95; 4,98 and 1,86 ng/g (wet weight) for horse mackerel, while these concentrations were detected 0,10; 0,12; 0,35; 0,40 and 0,05 ng/g (wet weight) for mussel respectively. The most common pesticides compounds in horse mackerel and mussel samples were determined as total-DDT, total-HCH ve PCB 138, PCB 153 concentrations. OCPs and PCBs concentrations detected from all samples obtained from four stations were found below the limit values for fish and seafood given by Turkish Food Codex (2011), EU Commission (2011-2006), FAO (1983), FDA (2011).
