Psikolojik danışma ve rehberliğin tarihsel ve karşılaştırmalı temelleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri; İngiltere gibi Avrupa ülkeleri ile diğer yandan Türkiye etrafında, Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik'in tarihsel arka planı, ki Psikoloji'nin bir alt dalıdır, ile beraber kurumlar, uygulamalar ve sistemler arasındaki karşılaştırmalı temeller araştırılmıştır. Döküman analizinin niteliksel metodolojisi kullanılarak, bu ülkelerin benzerlikleri, değişim süreçleri, farklılıkları çalışma boyunca değerlendirilmiştir. Dünyada, Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik'in varolan sistemleri ile Kamerun'da bir okul disiplini ve meslek olarak bu branşın uygulanmasında büyüyen gereklilik arasında bir bağlantı kurulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonunda, Kamerun'daki devlet ve özel üniversitelerinde, devlet ve özel yüksek meslek okullarında ya da yüksek öğretmen eğitim enstitülerinde, Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik'in nihai uygulaması projesinin amacı için önemli tavsiyeler ve teklifler sunulmuştur. Kamerun'a katma değer getirecek olan bu proje, ülkenin eğitim sistemine yansıyacak nitelikte ve bütün hükümet kurallarına uygundur.

In this study, the historical background of the Psychological Counselling and Guidance, a sub-division of Psychology, is being investigated alongside the comparative foundations between the systems, the application and institutions around the United States of America, European country as the United Kingdom, and then Turkey on the other side. Adopting a qualitative methodology of document analysis, their similarities, progressive evolution and their differences have been examined throughout this study. Later on, a link has been drawn between the existing systems of Psychological Counselling and Guidance around the world, and the growing necessity to implement this branch in the Cameroonian setting as a school discipline as well as a profession. At the end of this research, relevant recommendations and proposals have been stated for the purpose of projecting an eventual application of Psychological Counselling and Guidance in Cameroonian state and private universities, state and private higher institutions, or in the Higher Teacher Training Colleges. This project in effect, brings up an added value that will transpire on the Cameroon educational milieu, and fits with all the governmental laws.
