Siberfeminizmde grotesk, abjectıon ve ınformel kavramları üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında sanat alanında kadın sorunu ele alınmış olup, günümüzde bilim-teknoloji melezi olarak siberfeminizm başlığı altında değerlendirilmektedir. Biyo- Teknolojinin gelişmesi canlılara yeni bir tür kazandırmıştır. Geleceğin teknolojisinin hayali yavaş yavaş gelişmekte insanın yerini robotlar almaktadır. Kadın robotlar da bu gelişimin ürünüdür. Bu tezde grotesk, endişe, abartma, karikatürize etme, korku, çirkinlik, normalin dışında gibi etkilere sahip olarak açıklanırken bu konuyu siberfeminizm çatısı altında irdeleyen sanatçılar ve eserlerine yer verilmiştir. Siberfeminist eserlerde kir, dışkı, ölü hayvanlar, çürüyen yiyecekler gibi malzemelerin kullanılarak sanat eserlerinde abjection kavramına değinilirken kimlik, sistem, düzen bu vesile ile sorgulanmıştır. Bunun yanında sanat bilinen formun dışına çıkmış ve informel kavramı ile yeni bir form yaratmıştır. Siberfeminizmde teknoloji aracılığıyla sanatçının anlık duygusal durumu kodlanıp çalışmalarda bu robotik teknoloji sanatçının fırçası olmuştur. Sanatçı duygularını içselleştirip anlık gösteriler sunarak soyut çalışmalar üretmiştir. Bu çalışmaları içeren bir tarz olan informel kavramı siberfeminizm eserlerde yerini almış bulunmaktadır.Bu tez çalışmasının, birinci bölümünde cinsiyet olgusu ve sanat kavramları açıklanıp, cinsiyet ve sanat ilişkisi ele alınırken, ikinci bölümde siberfeminizmin ortaya çıkışı ve manifestolarına değinilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise Siberfeminizmin manifestolarından siborg manifestosunu detaylandırmak amacıyla siberfeminizmin getirisi olarak sinemada siborg etkisi ele alınırken, dördüncü bölümde grotesk, abjection ve informel kavramları siberfeminizm ile ilişkilendirilerek, ilgili sanat pratikleri incelenmiştir. Son olarak beşinci bölümde ise görsel sanatlar alanında ve sinemada grotesk, abjection ve informel kavramlarının sanat pratiklerine etkisi araştırılıp detaylandırılmıştır. Böylelikle siberfeminizmde grotesk, abjection ve informel kavramlarının yeri sorgulanarak, yanıt bulunmaya çalışılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Kadın, feminizm, siberfeminizm, grotesk, abjection, informel

This thesis paper addresses the issue of `woman` in the field of arts and today it is considered under the heading of cyberfeminism as an hybrid of science and technology. Development of biotechnology has enabled the living beings to acquire a new kind. Robots are replacing humans while the dreams about future's technology are slowly emerging. Female robots are the products of this development. This thesis explains about effects that are beyond normal such as grotesque, worry, exaggeration, caricaturization zation, fear and ugliness and features artists and their works that analyse this subject matter under the cyberfeminism. In cyberfeminist works, dirt, feces, dead animals, rotten food and similar materials are used and the concept of abjection is touched while identities, system and order are all questioned by this means. In addition, the art has gone beyond its known forms and created a new form called `informal`. In cyberfeminism, the artist's instant emotion is coded by means of technology and this robotic technology has become the artist's brush in her works. The artist has internalized her emotions and created abstract works. The concept of `information` which means this kind of style in works has found its solid place in cyberfeminist works.In the first part of this thesis, the concepts of gender and art are explained and the relationship between gender and art is discussed, in the second part, the emergence and manifestos of cyberfeminism are mentioned. In the third part, cyberfeminism's effect as a return on cyberfeminism in cinema is discussed in order to elaborate the siborg manifesto which is one of the manifestos of cyberfeminism, in the fourth part, grotesque, abjection and informal concepts are associated with cyberfeminism and related art practices are examined.Finally, in the fifth part, the effects of the concepts of grotesque, abjection and informal in the field of visual arts and cinema on art practices are investigated and detailed. In this way, the grotesque, the place of abjection and informal concepts in cyberfeminism were questioned and the answer was tried to be found.Keywords: Woman, feminism, cyberfeminism, grotesque, abjection, informal
