Abstract
Bu çalışma Köy Enstitüleri'nin kuruluş aşaması, amacı, yer seçimleri, proje yarışmalarının da yer aldığı ve özelde Malatya İli Akçadağ İlçesinde yer alan enstitünün kuruluş aşaması, dönem yapıları, yapılarda meydana gelen bozulmaları, yapıların günümüzdeki durumları ve koruma önerilerini konu etmektedir. Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarında nüfusun büyük çoğunluğunun köylerde yaşadığı dönemde, eğitim seviyesini yükseltmek için, eğitim seviyesi düşük olan köylerin hedef alındığı bir projedir. Ülke çapında toplam 21 adet Köy Enstitüsü açılmıştır. Enstitüler demir yolu ve ana yola yakın, ulaşımı kolay olan yerlere kurulmuştur. Bulundukları bölgelerin malzemeleri ile basit çözümlü ancak mimari yarışma projeleri ile oluşturulacak şekilde tasarımı önemseyen bir anlayış ile yapılmıştır. Köy Enstitüleri iş içinde eğitim anlayışı ve üretici yönü ile günümüz eğitim kurumlarından farklı bir eğitime sahiptir. 1940 yılında açılan yarışma projesi ürünü olan Akçadağ Köy Enstitüsü, 1940 yılından günümüze kadar 4 farklı eğitim kurumuna dönüşmüştür. Bunlar; 1940-1954 yılları arasında Akçadağ Köy Enstitüsü, 1954-1974 arası Akçadağ İlköğretmen Okulu, 1974-1990 Arası Akçadağ Öğretmen Lisesi, 1990'dan 2015'in Ocak ayına kadar Akçadağ Anadolu Öğretmen Lisesi olarak kullanılmıştır. Akçadağ Köy Enstitüsü'nün yapıldığı günden itibaren eğitim binası olarak kullanımı, enstitüdeki birçok yapının özgünlüğünü ve sürekliliğini korumasını sağlamıştır.Bu çalışma, kısıtlı belgeler ile zorlu ve duygulu bir dönemin tanığı olan Akçadağ Köy Enstitüsü'nün belgelenerek, mimari, kültürel, sosyal, politik değerleri ile bilim dünyasına kazandırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada öz olarak, Akçadağ Köy Enstitüsü'nün günümüzdeki durumunun tespiti, rölöve çalışması ile belgelenmesi, tarihi araştırması, yapıların dönemlenmesi ve koruma önerisi araştırılmıştır. This study deals with the establishment phase, the period structures, the deterioration of the structures, the present conditions of the structures and the conservation proposals of the institute, which is located in the province of Malatya in the province of Akçadağ, where the village institutes' establishment stage, purpose, location selection and project competitions are included. It is a project aimed at villagers with a low educational level to raise the level of education in the first years of the Republic when the vast majority of the population lives in the villages. The institutional installation was established in places that are easy to access, close to the railway and main road. A total of 21 Village Institutes have been opened nationwide. The institutes were named according to the places they were founded and produced according to the characteristics of the regions they were in. The direction of the production of the Village Institutes is that the institutes differ from the other known educational institutions.The Akçadağ Village Institute, a competition project product opened in 1940, has been transformed into four different educational institutions from 1940 to the present day. These; Akçadağ Village Institute between 1940-1954, Akçadağ Primary Education School between 1954-1974, Akçadağ Teacher High School between 1974-1990, Akçadağ Anatolian Teacher High School from 1990 until January 2015. The use of the Akçadağ Village Institute as a training building since the day it was built ensured that many of the institute's buildings retain their originality and continuity.This work has been tried to be given to the scientific world as a witness to a difficult and emotional period with limited documents. In essence, the study of the present situation of the Akçadağ Village Institute, the documentation of the survey work, the historical research, the period of the buildings and the protection proposal have been investigated.Key Words: Village Institute, Akçadağ, Function, Survey, Restoration, Education Buildings
