Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin hak ve özgürlüklere saygı değerine ilişkin görüşleri: Kastamonu ili örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışma Kastamonu'da öğrenim gören yabancı uyruklu 6. sınıf Sosyal Bilgileröğrencilerinin hak ve özgürlüklere saygı değerine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemekamacıyla, 2016-2017 öğretim yılında Kastamonu il merkezinde bulunanortaokullarda öğrenim gören 15 yabancı uyruklu öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir.Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinde olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Kullanılanveriler odak grup görüşmesi yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Yabancı öğrencilere hak veözgürlüklere saygı değeri ile ilgili araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan 20 soru sorularakve hak ve özgürlükler ile ilgili resim çizdirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler içerik analiziile çözümlenmiştir.Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğrencilerin kişi hakları, sosyal ve ekonomikhaklar ile ilgili görüş bildirirken siyasi haklarla ilgili herhangi bir görüşbelirtmedikleri görülmektedir. Ülkelerinde suç olarak bildikleri şeylerin aslındakendi hak ve özgürlükleri olduğunu öğrendikleri belirtmişlerdir. Kendileri için hakve özgürlüklere saygı değerinin ayrı bir ders olarak verilmesi, hak ve özgürlükleresaygı duymayanların cezalandırılması gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. Değerleri aktarmakiçin sorumlulukları olduklarını bunu eğitim ile gerçekleştirebilecekleri, değereğitiminde öğrencilerin tümünün öğretmeni rol model aldıkları sonuçlarınaulaşılmıştır. Bu araştırma sonuçlarından anlaşıldığı üzere, Sosyal Bilgiler dersinintemel amacı olan iyi bir vatandaş yetiştirmede toplumlar tarafından kabül görendeğerlerin önemi oldukça fazladır. Bu sebeple değer eğitimi okullarda ders olarakverilmesi ve değer eğitimi hususunda öğrencilerin rol model aldıkları öğretmenlerinseminer ve kurslarla bu konuda yetiştirilmeleri önerilebilir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Sosyal Bilgiler, Hak ve Özgürlüklere saygı, Yabancı uyrukluöğrenciler.

This study was conducted with 15 foreign students studying in secondary schools inKastamonu province center during the 2016-2017 school year in order to determinethe opinions of the 6th grade Social Studies students of Kastamonu on the respectvalue of rights and freedoms. Phenomeology as qualitative research methods wereused in this study. The data were collected from focus group interview. Asked 20questions prepared by the researcher about the value of respecting rights andfreedoms to foreign students and drawing pictures about rights and freedoms. Theobtained data were analyzed by content analysis. According to the results of thestudy, students do not express any opinion on political rights when they expressopinions on individual rights, social and economic rights. They have learned thatwhat they know as crime in their country is in fact their own rights and freedoms.The fact that the value of respect for rights and freedoms as a separate lesson forthem has to be punished for those who do not respect rights and freedoms. They havecome to the conclusion that all of the students in value education are modeling therole of teachers in carrying out their responsibilities to convey values, througheducation. As it is understood from the results of this research, the values that areaccepted by the societies with a good citizen education which is the main aim of theSocial Studies Course are significant. For this reason, Value Education can besuggested to be taught in schools and to educate the teachers that the students takerole models about value education with seminars and courses.Key Words: Social Studies, Respect for Rights and Freedoms, Foreign Students.
