dc.description.abstract6. SUMMARYThis reserach conducted on 0-3 months old of 30 calves. The resarch results divided into two part such as ?isoflurane? and ?sevoflurane? effects to the animal. During operation period, calf?s diastolic and systolic blood pressure, heart beat rates, body temparature, breath and EKG result were monitored. Those result was based on the pre- anaesthesia.Calves were received a subcutaneous injection 0.02 mg/kg atropine sulfat before 30 minutes of the anaesthesia. Later 5-6 mg/kg intravenous propofol injection was given after 15 minutes of Atropin induction. Calves received endotracheal intubation following induction. 15 minutes after the Propofol injection, the premier concentration of the isoflurane was 5-4 %, it was the begining of the anaesthesia. After seen deep anaesthesia reaction, the isoflurane concentration decreased into 3-1.5%. On the Sevoflurane injection side, the premier concentration of the sevoflurane was given 7-5% the begining of the anaesthesia. After seen deep anaesthesia reaction, the sevaflurane concentration decreased into 4-2 %.The calves were monitored in order to analyse cardiopulmonary resuscitation effect under the anaesthesia during the operation period. Heart beat rates, diastolic and systolic blood pressure, pulse, breath and body temparature were measured on 5, 15, 30, 45, 60 ve 75th min of the premedication and induction period before anaesthesia.The blood samples were taken on 30th and 75th min of the premedication and induction period. Those samples were saved sterile tube which included Etilen Diamin Tetra Asetat (EDTA). The diameters of erythrocyte (RBC), leukocyte counts (WBC), the haemoglobin amount (Hb), hematocrite values (Hct), thrombocytes number (PLT) were analysed based on teh blod samples were taken form the calves.The anaesthesia were stopped completely and 100% oksijen were provided to animal in order to contuniue its spontan breath. After operation were completed the link between the machine and tube were cut then the animal started taken natural breath. Intubation tube were removed while starting of the laryngeal dystonia.The study is to compare the effect of isoflura and sevoflurane to the calf. The clinical evidence, some blood parameters and EKG results were same amongh the calves during the isofluran & sevoflurane anaesthesia. The conclusion was that both isofluran & sevoflurane medicine were showed minimal complication. The low flow anaesthesia by all agents was secure.en_US
