In this study, the 28 new mixed complexes of Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) with p-methylaminobenzoic acid (MABA), p-dimethylaminobenzoic acid (DMABA), p-diethylaminobenzoic acid (DEABA) which are derivatives of p-aminobenzoic acid, and with biologically active nicotinamide and derivatives of nicotinamide (diethylnicotinamide (DENA) and isonicotinamide (INA)) have been synthesized:[Cu2(DMAB)4(INA)2] (1), [Co(DMAB)2(INA)(H2O)2] (2), [Ni(DMAB)2(INA)(H2O)2] (3), [Zn(DMAB)2(INA)(H2O)2] (4), [Mn(DMAB)2(INA)(H2O)2] (5), [Cd(DMAB)2(INA)(H2O)2] (6), [Ni(DMAB)2(DENA)2(H2O)2] (7), [Co(DMAB)2(DENA)2(H2O)2] (8), [Zn2(DMAB)4(DENA)2] (9), [Cu2(DEAB)4(H2O)2] (10), [Ni(DEAB)2(H2O)3].2H2O (11), [Co(DEAB)2(H2O)3].2H2O (12), [Mn(DEAB)2(H2O)3].2H2O (13), [Zn2(DEAB)4] (14), [Zn2(DEAB)4(DENA)2] (15), [Co2(DEAB)4(DENA)2] (16), [Ni(DEAB)2(DENA).H2O] (17), [Co(DEAB)2(NA)2] (18), [Ni(DEAB)2(NA)2] (19), [Zn2(MAB)4(DENA)2].2H2O (20), [Ni(MAB)2(NA)2(H2O)2] (21), [Zn(MAB)2(NA)2] (22), [Cu(MAB)2(NA)2.H2O] (23), [Co(MAB)2(NA)2(H2O)2].2H2O (24), [Zn(MAB)2(INA)2].H2O (25), [Co(MAB)2(INA)(H2O)2] (26), [Zn2(MAB)4(H2O)2] (27), [Cu2(MAB)4(H2O)2] (28)The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, UV-vis, ESR spectroscopy, thermogravimetry measurements. Crystal and molecular structures of twelve compexes were determined by X-ray analysis. Concequently, it has been determined that complexes 1, 9, 10, 20, 27 and 28 have square-pyramidal, complexes 14, 16 and 22 have tetrahedral, and the others complexes have octahedral geometries.en_US
