Okul öncesi fen eğitiminde analojilerin ve bilgisayar destekli eğitimin akademik başarı açısından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; okul öncesi fen müfredatlarında yer alan kavramların analojiler ve bilgisayar desteği ile öğrencilere anlatılmasıdır. Bu çalışma iki aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Birinci aşamada basit elektrik devresinin modeli öğrencilere sunulmuş ve bu modele göre aynı devreyi kurabilmeleri istenmiştir. İkinci aşamada ise; basit elektrik devresinin her aşaması video kaydı ile kaydedilmiş ve öğrencilere izletilmiştir. Daha sonra bu destek ile devrenin kurulması öğrencilerden istenmiştir. Araştırma bu iki uygulamadan elde edilen gösterge değerlerinin hesaplanması esasına dayanmaktadır.Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması kullanılarak, okul öncesi fen kazanımları dikkate alınarak uygulamaya ilişkin göstergeler hazırlanmıştır. Bu göstergelerin hazırlanmasında uzman öğretim elemanları aktif rol oynamıştır. Hazırlanan 59 adet göstergeye ait veriler istatistik programlarına girilerek gerekli hesaplamalar yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları dikkate alındığında; bilgisayar destekli öğretimde öğrencilerin analojilere göre kazanımlar ve göstergelerde daha başarılı oldukları görülmüştür.

The purpose of this research is; the concepts in pre-school science curriculum are explained to the students through analogies and computer support. This study was carried out in two stages. In the first stage, the model of the simple electric circuit is presented to the students and it is desired to prepare the same circuit according to this model. In the second phase; each stage of the simple electric circuit was recorded by video recording and watched by the students. Then, students were asked to set up the system with this support. The research is based on the calculation of the measuring tool values obtained from these two applications.In this study, using case study from qualitative research methods, Taking into consideration pre-school science achievements, application related measuring tools were prepared. Expert academician played an active role in the preparation of these measuring tools. Prepared 59 measuring tools were written into statistical programs and necessary calculations were made.When the results of the study are taken into account; it was seen that students in computer-assisted instruction were more successful in the achievements and the indicators than in the analogies.
