Yüksel Arslan`da mekân ve beden ilişkisi

Abstract

Bu tezin temel amacı, Yüksel Arslan?ın çalışmalarında mekân ve beden ilişkisini Doğulu ve Batılı geleneklerden gelerek ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde, mekânın İslami coğrafyalarda nasıl algılandığı özellikle gölge oyunları, Siyah Kalem sanatı ve Osmanlı minyatürleri gibi örnekler üzerinden irdelenmiştir. Batılı ve Doğulu temsil biçimleri sorgulanarak, bedenin mekân üzerindeki konumlanma biçimleri aydınlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ilk olarak Sürrealizmin nasıl tepkiler sonucunda ortaya çıktığı araştırılmış ve daha sonra Sürrealist rüya mekânı ile Tasavvuf düşüncesi arasındaki ortaklıklar ve farklılıklar ele alınmıştır. Son olarak Yüksel Arslan?ın birbirinden farklılık gösteren iki geleneği kendi sanatı üzerinde nasıl bir araya getirdiği ve bununla da kalmayıp tercihini ne doğrultuda kullandığı, ilk iki bölümde araştırılan konular dâhilinde sorgulanmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Yüksel Arslan, Gölge Oyunu, Sürrealizm

The main purpose of this thesis, Yüksel Arslan studies the relationship between space and the body came to reveal the traditions of East and West.
