Günümüz sanatında kimlik ve temsiliyet sorunu olarak giysi

Abstract

Bu tezin temel amacı, kimlik ve temsiliyet kavramı ile ilişkilendirdiğim giysinin toplumsal rolünü,, statü, sınıf ve kimlik olgularıyla ilişkisini, kullanım alanlarını, günümüz sanatına olan etkilerini örnekleriyle ortaya koymaktır.Bu tezde öncelikli olarak genel giysi kavramından bahsedilmiştir. Daha sonraki bölümlerde, giysinin toplumsal açıdan incelenmesi, sınıf, cinsiyet, kimlik ve beden olgusu ile ilişkilendirilerek ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra ise moda kavramına giriş yapılarak, moda kavramının toplumsal temellerine değinilmiştir.Son olarak giysinin, güncel sanatta yer bulması ve yorumu sanatçı örnekleriyle ele alınmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Giysi, Beden, Kimlik, Sanat, Moda, Temsiliyet,

Main purpose of this thesis is to reveal the social role of the clothing, a notion which I always correlated with the concept of identity, its relationship with the social status, social classes and with the concept of identity; with its uses and effects on the contemporary art.In this thesis, firstly the concept of general clothing and the perception of clothing, which differs in each society, have been mentioned. In the following chapters, the review of clothing in terms of social aspect has been mentioned by linking the topic to concepts such as social status, social classes, sexuality and the concept of identity. Later on the social roots of notion of fashion has been reviewed.And finally the effects and interpretation of concept of clothing and fashion in today's art have been mentioned with the samples from different artists.Keywords: Clothing, Fashion, Social Class, Identity, Society, Modernism, Art, Body
