Türk-Rus sınırı (1919-1946)

Abstract

Kurtuluş Savaşı öncesinden başlayarak Türk-Rus sınırının oluşmasını ve bugünkü sınırların neden bu şekilde oluştuğunu açıklayan olaylar, belgeler ve kaynakları kullanarak kuzeydoğu sınırımızın hikayesi anlatılmaktadır.

This thesis is about analysis of the Turkish-Russian border between 1919?1946. The Constitutions of nation-states may have a section underlining the characteristics of a state, as it is evident in the first section of the Turkish Republic Constitution, which is committed to the elaboration of the characteristics of the Republic of Turkey. According to some political scientists, one of the fundamental characteristics of a state is for a state to have a main land. In terms of some literature and within the definition of a `state?in the Turkish Constitution: a ?main land? geographically can be identified as a `land with defined borders in which a state may use its own sovereignty unconditionally?. Hence, today the Republic of Turkey has been recognized with its established borders after an Independence War.
