Milli Mücadele`de Manisa ve milletvekilleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada temel amaç, Manisa'nın Milli Mücadele'deki yerini ve rolünütespit ederek, Türk milli tarihine katkıda bulunmaktır. Aynı zamanda mücadeleyedestek veren dönem milletvekillerinin bu aşamada ne gibi yararlılıklar sağladığınıgöstermektir. Manisa konusunda pek çok, dağınık bilgi içeren çalışma mevcutolmasına rağmen derli toplu akademik bir çalışmanın olmaması dikkatimizi çekmişve bu durum bizi konuyu araştırmaya yöneltmiştir.Üç bölümden oluşan araştırmanın giriş bölümünde; Birinci Dünya Savaşı'nagiden yol, savaşın kaybedilmesi, Osmanlı'nın Mondros Mütarekesini imzalamakzorunda kalması ve bunu müteakip İzmir'in işgalinin halkta yarattığı endişeizlemektedir. Tüm bunlar neticesinde Atatürk'ün Samsun'a çıkışı, gerçekleştirilengenelge ve kongreler, Misak-ı Milli kararları, Osmanlı Mebusan Meclisi'ninkapanması ve neticede Büyük Millet Meclisinin açılması konuları ele alınmıştır.Birinci bölümdeyse; İzmir'den Ege'ye işgal, mücadele ve ayaklanmalarbaşlığı altında; Yunanlıların Anadolu'ya girişleri, bölgede Kuva-yı Milliyebirliklerinin oluşturulması, Batı Cephesinin düzenlenmesi ve bu esnada ortaya çıkanÇerkez Ethem ve Demirci Mehmet Efe Ayaklanmaları hakkında bilgi verilmeyeçalışılmıştır.İkinci bölümde; Manisa'nın Milli Mücadele'deki rolünden ve Manisa'dakigenel durumdan bahsedilmiştir. Batı Anadolu'da gerçekleşen ve bilinen en önemlikongreler olan Balıkesir ve Alaşehir kongrelerine değinilerek bölgedeki etkileri elealınmıştır.Üçüncü bölümde Meclisin Birinci Döneminde tespit ettiğimiz 9 Saruhan(Manisa) milletvekilinin Milli Mücadele ve Manisa adına ne gibi işler yaptıklarını vekatkıda bulunduklarını aktardık.
