dc.description.abstract-79- 7. ÖZET 2. Konumda, 2-feniletil ve 2-siklohekziletil yapıları içeren ve 5. konumda klor, nitro ve amin gibi gruplarla sübstitüe edilmiş, dört yeni foenzoksazol türevi ilk kez sentez edilmiştir. Bu türevler, 4-sübstitüe-2-aminofenollerin, 3-fenilpropiyonik asid veya 3-siklohekzil- propiyonik asid ile PPA katalizörlüğünde ısıtılması sonucunda elde edilmiştir. Sentez edilen türevlerin saflıkları İ.T.K. ile kontrol edildik ten sonra ergi»e noktaları saptanmış ve yapıları UV, İR, -4î-NMR ve Elemen. tel Analiz yöntemleri ile açıklanmıştır. Elde edilen bileşiklerin bazı gram {+) ve gram (-) bakterilere karşı. antibakteriyel ve Candida albicansa karşı antifungal etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bulunan Minimum inhibitor Konsantrasyon (MİK) değerleri, bazı antibakteriyel ve antifungal ilaçlarla karşılaştırılarak, sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. Sentez edilen bileşikler içerisinde, 2. konumda 2-siklohekziletil grubu taşıyan benzoksazol türevlerinin, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ve Klebsiella pneumoniae bakterilerine karşı ve fungus olarak Candida albicansa karşı bulunan MİK değerleri incelendiğinde, kıyaslanan ilaçlar dan daha etkili oldukları görülmüştür.

İNGİLİZCE ÖZET (SUMMARY) THE SYHXHESIS, STRUCTURE ELUCIDATIONS AND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITIES OF SOME 5-SUBSTITUTED-2-(2-PH£M¥LETHYL) AND 5-SUBSTITUTED- 2- ( 2-CYCLOHEXYLETHYL ) BENZOXAZOLE DERIVATIVES. In this research, four original benzoxazolo derivatives were synthesized which Mere substituted with 2-phenylethyl and 2-cyclohexyl- ethyl moities at the position 2 and chloro, raitro and amino groups at the position 5. The compounds were synthesized by heating 4-substituted-2-amino- phenol with 3-phenylpropionic acid or 3-cyclohexylpropionic acid in the presence of polyphosphoric acid. The purity of the compounds were controlled by TLC and melting points were determined. Their structures were elucidated using UV, IR, -`-H-NMR and Eleaental Analysis methods. The antibacterial activities of these compounds against some gram ( + ) and gram {-) bacteria and the antifungal activities against the fungus Candida albicans were determined. The observed Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) values of the derivatives were compared to some antibacterial and antifungal drugs. The benzoxazoles, which substituted with 2-cyclohexylethyl group at the position 2, were found more active than the compared drugs against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae and the fungus Candida albicans according to their MIC values.en_US
