1- A. celiaca'dan tavşanda ilk kol olarak a. lienalis ayrılır ken, kedide ilk kol a. hepatic a' dır. 2- Tavşanda a. hepatica'dan a. gastrica dextra ile birlikte ayrılan bir a. colica media bulunduğu halde, kedide bu damara rastlanmamıştır. 3- Tavşanda a. mesenterica cranialis'ten ayrılan rami jeju- nales*in sayısı dört adetken, kedide bu sayı biredir. 4- Truncus jejunal is' t en ayrılan a. jejunalis'in sayısı tav şanda 18-20 adet olduğu halde, kedide 10-14 adettir. 5- A. phrenicoabdominalis tavşanda a. renalis'ten kedide ise aorta abdominalis' ten ayrılır. 6- A. clrcumflexa ilium profunda tavşanda a. iliaca externa- dan orijin aldığı halde, bu damar kedide aorta abdomjjnalis'ten son kollarına ayrılmadan önce çıkar. 7- Tavşanda a. sacralis mediana, a. iliaca externa ve interna- dan 4 mm.
dc.description.abstract-74- S ÜHHAHY In this study, 10 adult cats consisting of 5 males and 5 females with a mean weight of 3075 gr. and 14 rabbits consisting of 6 males and 8 females with a mean weight 3225 gr. were used. The purpose of this study was to investigate com paratively some macro-anatomical and subgross characteristics of the abdominal aorta in cats and rabbits. Based on the re sults obtained the following conspicuous differences were found. 1- The first branch of the celiac artery was the splenic ar tery ixi rabbit, but it was the hepatic artery in cat. 2- The middle colic artery which was not found in cat arose from the hepatic artery with the right gastric artery in rabbit. 3- The number of the jejunal rami which took their origins from the cranial mesenteric artery were 4 in rabbit, but 1 in cat. 4- The number of the jejunal arteries which arose from the jejunal trunk were 18-20 in rabbit, but 10-14 in cat. 5- The phrenicoabdominal artery took its origin from the renal artery in rabbit, but it arose from the abdominal aorta in cat. 6- The deep circumflex iliac artery arose from the external iliac artery in rabbit, but this vessel arose from the abdomi nal aorta before its termination in cat. 7- The sacral median artery took its origin at the termina tion of the abdominal aorta in cat. However, this artery arose from the abdominal aorta 4 mm. before its termination in rabbit. 8- The lumbal arteries could arise from a common stem in rabbit, but they were always in pairs in cat.en_US
