dc.description.abstract- 24 - ÖZET 1978 yılı içinde laboratuvarımızda incelenen idrar, cerahat, `boğaz salgısı, balgam, safra, beyin omurilik sıvısı gibi muayene maddelerinden ve bir klinikte kullanılan şırınga iğnesinden izole edilmiş olan nonfermentatif bakterilerden seçilen 100 Pseudomonas susunun morfolojik ve biyokimyasal özellikleri incelenerek tür ta yini yapılmıştır. Bunlardan 95 i P. aeruginosa, ikişer tanesi P.mal- tophilia ve P. cepacia ve biri de P.acidovorans olarak tanımlanmıştır. 95 P. aeruginosa susundan 58 inin piyosiyanin, birinin piyo- melanin içerdiği, ayrıca üç susun kapsüllü olduğu saptanmıştır. P.maltophilia suşları oksidaz negatif, lizin dekarboksilaz pozitif bulunmuş, jelozda açık kahverengi, Sabouraud besiyerinde parlak sa rı renk oluşturmuşlar, suşlardan yalnız biri 42 C de üremiştir. Lizin dekarboksilaz pozitif bulunan iki P. cepacia susundan birinde oksidaz negatif bulunmuştur. P.acidovorans olarak tanımlanan tek suş glikozu parçalamamış, mannitoldan asit oluşturmuş, nitrataz pozitif bulunmuştur. P. aeruginosa suşlarınm $ 74,7 si karbenisilin, fo 65,2 si gentamisin, $-27,4 ü kanamisin ve $ 23,2 si streptomisine hassas, P.maltophilia suşlarınm poliraiksin B, kloramf enikol, gentamisin, kanamisin ve streptomisine hassas, P. cepacia suşlarınm polimiksin B ye hassas ve kloramf eni kol e dirençli, P.acidovorans susunun nalidiksik asit, tetrasiklin, nitrofurantoin, novobiosine hassas, polimiksin B ye dirençli olduğu saptanmıştır.
dc.description.abstract- 25 - S U M M A R Y Pseudomonas Species Isolated from Clinical Specimens A total of 100 strains of Pseudomonas species were choosed among the nonfermentative `bacteria isolated from clinical speci mens like urine, pus, throat swab, mucus, bile, cerabrospinal fluid and from an injector used in a clinic submitted to our la boratory in 1978. The strains were examined for their morphology and biochemical characteristics. 95 strains were identified as P, aeruginosa, two strains as P.maltophilia, two strains as P. ce pacia and one strain as P.acidovorans. Pyocyanin was produced by 58 strains and pyomelanin was produced by one strain of P. aeruginosa. Three strains of P. aeru ginosa were encapsulated. P.maltophilia strains were oxidase negative, lysine decarboxylase positive, developed a brown pig ment on agar medium and a bright yellow pigment on Sabouraud agar; only one strain growed at 42 C. One of P. cepacia strains was oxi dase negative. P.acidovorans produced acid from mannitol but not from glucose and reduced nitrate to nitrite. 74,7 fo of P. aeruginosa strains were susceptible to carbeni- cillin, 65? 2 f0 to gentamicin and 27,4 # to streptomycin. P.maltop hilia strains were susceptible to polymyxin B, chloramphenicol, gentamicin and streptomycin. P. cepacia strains were susceptible to polymyxin B and resistant to chloramphenicol. The strain of P.aci dovorans was susceptible to nalidixic acid, tetracycline, nitro furantoin, novobiocin and resistant to polymyxin B.en_US
