dc.description.abstract62. SUMMARY The different types of Duodenal Ulcers which are rather frequent, can be cured by surgical treatment. Such as Truncal Vagotomy - Antrectomy - Gas trojejanos tony, Selective Vagotomy - Pyloroplasty or Prckimal Selective Vagotomy. The purpose of these procedures is to decrease the Hyperacidity, which is the main cause of Duodenal Ulcers. The applied procedure must have a low mortality and morbitity rate, and also curative. The Proximal Selective Vagotomy procedure, has all of these properties / when applied by experienced hands. With this work we are presenting the cause of Duodenal Ulcers and results obtained by Proximal Selective Vagotomy surgery, from different clinics. ı Further more, we also present the results of 5 cases treated by Proximal Selective Vagotomy Surgery carried.out in our clinic.en_US
