Adalar ilçesi'nin (İstanbul) coğrafi etüdü

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Marmara Bölgesi'nde yer alan İstanbul Adaları'nın coğrafi özelliklerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda; tezin birinci bölümünde Adalar'ın coğrafi konumu, sınırları, özellikleri, çalışmanın amacı, metodu ve kullanılacak materyaller önceki çalışmalarla birlikte ele alınmıştır. Tezin ikinci kısmında; Adalar'ın fiziki coğrafya özellikleri olarak jeoloji, jeomorfoloji, hidrografya, yeryüzü şekilleri, toprak, iklim ve bitki örtüsü özellikleri ele alınmıştır. Bu kısımda özellikle yerli ve yabancı kaynaklardan ve elektronik verilerden faydalanılmıştır. Tezin üçüncü bölümünde; İstanbul Adaları'nın beşerî coğrafya özellikleri sırasıyla nüfus, yerleşme, kültür ve turizm özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu bölümde özellikle TÜİK tarafından açıklanan güncel istatistiksel veriler analiz edilmiştir. Tezin dördüncü ve son bölümünde ise İstanbul Adaları'nın ekonomik coğrafya özellikleri; tarım, hayvancılık, ormancılık, sanayi, ticaret ve ulaşım özellikleri kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarından temin edilen veriler esas alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. Geçmiş ve güncel durum hakkında istatistiksel verilerin yanında görsel veriler de kullanılmıştır. Tez yukarıda sıralanan sistematik içinde belli başlıklar altında ele alınarak incelenmiştir. Ayrıca elde edilen tüm bu veriler ve değerlendirilerek; harita, grafik, fotoğraf ve tablolara dönüştürülmüş ve çalışma görsel materyaller ile desteklenmiştir. İstanbul Adaları coğrafi açıdan stratejik bir öneme sahiptir. Bu doğrultuda bölgenin coğrafi etüdünün yapılması, belirlenmesi ve çözüm önerilerinin geliştirilmesi büyük bir önem arz etmektedir. Bununla birlikte İstanbul Adaları'nın tanıtılması, ekonomik büyümesini güçleştiren sorunların analiz edilmesi, sorunlarının çözülebilmesi ve kalkınmasının dengeli bir şekilde sağlanması, yapılan çalışmanın önemini daha da artırmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: İstanbul Adaları, jeoloji, jeomorfoloji, iklim, nüfus, ekonomi.

In this study, it is aimed to examine the geographical survey characteristics of the Istanbul Islands in the Marmara Region. In this context; In the first part of the thesis, the geographical location, boundaries, features, purpose of the study, method and materials to be used will be given to the reader together with the previous studies. In the second part of the thesis; The geographical, geomorphological, hydrographic, landforms, soil, climate and vegetation characteristics of the Islands will be specified in order. In this section, especially domestic and foreign printed sources and electronic data will be used. In the third part of the thesis; Human geography characteristics of Istanbul Islands will be given information about population, settlement, culture and tourism, respectively. In this section, the current statistical data announced by TUİK will be given to the reader. In the fourth and last part of the thesis; Economic geography characteristics of Istanbul Islands, agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, industry and trade and transportation characteristics will be included in the study based on data from public institutions and organizations. Besides the statistical data about the past and current situation, visual data will also be used. The thesis will be analyzed under certain titles in the hierarchy listed above. The data and evaluations obtained in the last section will be supported with additional visual materials such as maps, graphics, photographs and tables. Istanbul Islands, which is our field of study, has a strategic importance geographically. In this direction, it is of great importance to make geographical survey and determination of the region and to develop solutions. In addition to this, introducing Istanbul Islands, analyzing the problems that make development difficult, solving the problems and ensuring a balanced development further increases the importance of the thesis to be prepared.Keyword: Istanbul Islands, geology, geomorphology, climate, population, economy
