Abstract

Sahâbe nesli, Hz. Peygamber'in (a.s.) terbiyesinden geçmiş, onun örnekliğiyle şekillenmiş, Allah ve Resulü için büyük sıkıntılara göğüs germiş, gerektiğinde yurtlarını, eşlerini, çocuklarını ve mallarını terk etmek zorunda kalmış bir nesildir. Bu nesil, İslam'ı öğrenmek, öğretmek, yaşamak ve yaşatmak için büyük çaba sarf etmiştir. Dolayısıyla İslamiyet'i doğru anlamanın yolu, genelde sahâbe neslini özelde ise bu dinin tâbiîn nesline intikalini sağlayan sahâbe neslinin son halkasını tanımaktan geçmektedir.Binaenaleyh bu çalışmada en son vefat eden sahâbîlerin hayatları, özellikle Hz. Peygamber (a.s.), Hulefâ-yi Râşidîn ve Emevîler döneminde birlikte yaşadıkları bölge halkıyla olan münasebetleri ele alınmış ve bu sahâbîler hakkında İslam Tarihi kaynaklarında yer alan dağınık bilgiler bir araya getirilerek sistematize edilmiştir.

The generation of Companions of the Prophet Muhammad, was shaped by his civility, and that has endured great difficulties for Allah and His Messenger, and had to leave theri homes, wives, children and property when neccessary. This generation has made great efforts to learn, teach, live and keep Islam alive. There fore, the way to understand Islam correctly; It is about getting to know the generation of the Companions in general, and the last link of this generation, who ensured the transmission of this religion to the next generation in particular.In adding to this, in this study, the lives of the last deceased Companions were discussed; espacially in the period of the Prophet Muhammad, the Rashidun Caliphs and the Umayyads; the relations of these Companions with the people they lived with in the same region were discussed. In addition, scattered information about these Companions in the sources of Islamic History was gathered and systematized.
