XVII. yüzyılda yazılan Osmanlı hac seyahatnâmelerinin tarih yazımı açısından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu tez, düzenli bir organizasyon olarak yüzyıllardır sürdürülen dolayısıyla da hakkında çok doküman bulunan hac ile ilgili yazılan `hac seyahatnâmeleri` hakkındadır. XVII. yüzyıla ait eserler tarihsel perspektifle ele alınmıştır. Osmanlı hac seyahatnâmelerinin, Osmanlı siyasi, sosyal, dini ve kültürel hayatına dair veri kaynağı niteliğinde olup olmadığı konunun ana eksenini oluşturmaktadır. Şimdiye kadar tarih yazıcılığı açısından görece ihmal edilen hac seyahatnâmeleri tespit edilen ortak paydalardan hareketle tematik başlıklar altında tartışılmıştır. XVI.-XIX. yüzyıllar arasında yazılan tespit edebildiğimiz kadar esere ulaşarak bir Osmanlı dönemi bibliyografya çalışması ortaya koyarak, özet bilgilere excel tablosunda yer verilmiştir.

This dissertation is related to the `pilgrimage travel books`, there is a lot of documents about it which exist due to the ongoing organisation for centuries. The pieces are evaluated with a historical perspective, especially the XVII. century is taken into account. The XVII. century has deeply affected the following centuries and the history of the world. The Ottoman pilgrimage travel books that belong to this century addresses the point of whether the source of the data on Ottoman political, social, religious and cultural life constitutes the main axis of the subject. The pilgrimage travel books, which have been ignored in terms of historiography until now, are discussed under thematic headings based on the common denominators determined. By reaching as many works as we could detect written between the XVI.-XIX. centuries, an Ottoman period bibliography study was revealed, and the summary information was given in the form of a table in Excel.
