Türkiye'de tarım sektörünün ekonomik gelişimi ve sorunları

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Türkiye'de tarım sektörünün ekonomik gelişimini ve tarımın sorunlarının incelenmesidir. Tarım ülkemizde en önemli gelir kaynaklarından birisini oluşturması bakımından önemlidir. Bununla birlikte tarım tüm dünyanın her an ihtiyacı olan temel ürünleri işletmesi bakımından da öne çıktığından ülkelerin zorunlu ihtiyaçları arasındadır. Ülkemiz geniş tarım yapılabilecek alanlara sahip olduğundan tarım potansiyeli de yüksektir. Ancak yapılan araştırma neticesinde bu potansiyelin tam olarak kullanılamadığı gözlemlenmiştir. Özellikle Hollanda gibi ülkeler Türkiye'ye nazaran daha dar tarım alanlarına sahip olsa da tarım sektörü bağlamında öne çıkmaktadır. Türkiye'nin de tarım sektöründeki potansiyelinin gerçekleşmesinin önündeki sorunların irdelendiği bu araştırmada tarım sorunlarının yapısal sorunlar ve dönemsel olarak belirlenmiştir. Dönemsel sorunların başında değişen hükümetlerin uyguladığı sistematik olmayan politikalar gelmektedir. Yapısal sorunların ise tarım sektöründeki en önemli sorunları oluşturduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Bu sorunların başında ise tarımdaki karma ekonomi yaklaşımına rağmen devletin tarımdaki etkisinin beklentilerin altında kalmasıdır. Bu bağlamda araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde tarım sektörünün ülkemizde gelişebilmesi için devlet desteğinin artırılması sağlanmalıdır önerisi öne çıkmaktadır. Devletin tarımsal alanlarda istihdam sağlaması, uzman personeli desteklenmesi ve tarım alanlarında modern teknolojiler kullanması gerekmektedir. Bu şekilde hem iç piyasadaki tarım ürünlerinin fiyatının düşmesi sağlanacak hem de ülke ekonomisi için artı değer sağlayabilecektir

The aim of this research is to examine the economic development of the agricultural sector and the problems of agriculture in Turkey. Agriculture is important in that it constitutes one of the most important sources of income in our country. In addition, agriculture is among the mandatory needs of countries as it stands out in terms of operating the basic products that the whole world needs at any time. Since our country has large agricultural areas, its agricultural potential is also high. However, as a result of the research, it has been observed that this potential has not been fully utilized. Although countries such as the Netherlands have narrower agricultural areas compared to Turkey, they stand out in the context of the agricultural sector. In this research, in which the problems in front of the realization of Turkey's potential in the agricultural sector are examined, the structural problems and periodic problems of the agricultural problems are determined. At the beginning of the periodic problems are the unsystematic policies implemented by the changing governments. It has been observed that structural problems constitute the most important problems in the agricultural sector. Chief among these problems is the fact that the influence of the state in agriculture remained below expectations despite the mixed economy approach in agriculture. In this context, when the results obtained from the research are evaluated, the suggestion that government support should be increased in order to develop the agricultural sector in our country comes to the fore. The state should provide employment in agricultural areas, support expert personnel and use modern technologies in agricultural areas. In this way, both the price of agricultural products in the domestic market will be reduced and the added value will be provided for the country's economy.
