Factors and innovative technology that influence the success of an entrepreneur

Abstract

Çalışma Namtumbo bölgesindeki Bola kasabasında bir girişimcinin başarısına etki eden yenilikçi teknolojiler ve faktörleri araştırmayı hedeflemektedir. Özellikle, Bola'daki tarımsal girişimcilerin tarımsal durumunu, bireysel girişimcilik bilgisi ve becerilerini, tarımdaki ardışık faktörleri, yenilikçi tarım teknolojilerini, hükümetin yetkilendirme girişimlerini ve Bola çiftçilerini engelleyen tarımsal zorlukları değerlendirmektedir. Araştırmacı hem birincil hem de ikincil verilerin toplanmasında anket, gözlem ve çeşitli belgelerin incelenmesini kullanmış ve bu bilgiler tablolama yöntemleri ve anlatım notlarında sunulmuştur.Son olarak, çalışma, Bola köyünün tarımsal durumunu iyileştirebilecek, tarımsal eğitim verilmesi, finansman desteği, krediye erişim olanağı, girdi ve çıktı piyasalarında ve bu piyasalara erişimde istikrar sağlanması ve altyapıların iyileştirilmesi benzeri bazı öneriler getirmektedir.

The study intended to investigate the factors and innovative technology that influence the success of an entrepreneur at bola village in Namtumbo district. Specifically, the study aims on evaluating and assessing the agricultural situation of agricultural entrepreneurs at Bola, individual entrepreneurship knowledge and skills, agricultural successive factors, innovative agricultural technology used, Government's empowerment initiatives and agricultural challenges that hinder Bola farmers.Based on both main and specifics objectives of the study, the researcher developed both theoretical and literature reviews that relates with agricultural, innovation and entrepreneurship so that to give an integration that exists between these phenomena in bringing development success to the entrepreneurs.During undertaking of this study, the researcher used both questionnaires, observation and review of various documents in collecting both primary and secondary data, and this information were presented in tabulation methods and narrative notes.Upon completion of the date collection and analysis process, the study found that, Agriculture has always been a backbone to Bola farmers, as they depend much for their living, yet these farmers fails to become successful as they possess little entrepreneurship knowledge and skills on how to improve their farming activities. Not only that, but also lack of adequate knowledge on creativity becomes a challenge to Bola farmers as they fails on understanding how to exploit market opportunities for their crops also poor farming tools that they use for the agriculture. Despite of having these challenges, Bola villages believes that, their only success factor is the provision of Government support on loans, education, fertilizers, agricultural infrastructures, marketing opportunities, formal agricultural groups in rural areas.Lastly, the study came up with some recommendations that might improve the agricultural situation of Bola village. The study recommends on: provision of agricultural education, financing agriculture and access to credit, stabilization of access to inputs and outputs markets and improvement of infrastructures.
