Nino Rota'nın hayatı ve `Divertimento Konçertant` başlıklı eserinin kontrabas repertuvarına katkısı

Abstract

İtalyan besteci Nino Rota, kendine özgü stilini film müziği ve kompozisyonlarınayansıtması bakımından 20. yüzyılın tanınmış bestecilerindendir. Dünya çapında ilgi vebeğeni toplayan, film müziklerine imza atmış olan bestecinin aynı zamanda oldukça genişbir repertuvara sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Eserlerinde, özellikle sade ve etkili melodilerigöze çarpmaktadır.Rota'nın 1967 ve 1971 yılları arasında bestelediği 'Divertimento Konçertant' isimlikontrabas için yazdığı eseri, teknik zorlukları ve müzikal yapısının etkileyiciliği ilekontrabas repertuvarının önemli eserlerinden biri olarak kabul edilmektedir. Rota bu eseriFranco Petracchi'den ilham alarak bestelemiş ve ona ithaf etmiştir. Günümüzde eserinkontrabas sanatçıları tarafından sınav ve yarışmalarda sıkça seslendirilmesi, kişininin tümustalık ve yeteneklerini gösterebilmesine olanak vermektedir.Bu çalışmada, Rota'nın müzikal geçmişi, besteleri ve müzik stiliyle ilgili bilgiler verilerek,`Divertimento Konçertant` adlı eserinin, form ve müzikal yapısı açısından detaylı analiziyapılarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. İnceleme sonucunda edinilen bulgular ışığında;eserin kontrabas repertuvarına olan katkısının açıklanması hedeflenmiştir.

Italian composer Nino Rota is one of the well-known composers of the 20th century, inrecognition of reflecting his unique style on movie soundtracks and compositions. It is seenthat the composer has gained worldwide attraction and acclaim with his movie soundtracksand also has a very wide repertoire. His simple and influential melodies draw the attentionan his works.Rota's 'Divertimento Concerto' is composed between the years of 1967 and 1971, isconsidered one of the important works of the double bass repertoire with its technicaldifficulties and impressive musical structure. Rota composed this piece inspired by FrancoPetracchi, and dedicated it to him. Today, performing this piece in exams and competitionsfrequently by the double bass players allows to show all their mastery and skills.In this study, it is aimed to examine Rota's musical history, compositions, and musicalstyle by giving detailed information about his work, 'Divertimento Concerto' in terms ofform and musical structure. In the light of the findings obtained as a result of the review; itis aimed to explain the contribution of the work to the double bass repertoire.
