dc.description.abstract | Çocuk Edebiyatındaki Toplumsal Cinsiyet Kod ve Öğretilerinin EğitimeYansımaları adını taşıyan bu çalışma 1970 sonrası çocuk edebiyatında `geleneksel`,`modern` ve `çeviri` edebiyat ürünleri vermiş yazarların kurgusal metinlerinikapsamaktadır.Kadın ve erkeğin, kız çocuk ve erkek çocuğun rollerinin nasılkonumlandırıldığı, toplumda cinsiyete bağlı sorunların ortaya çıkmasında önemlietkenlerden biridir. Hayatın her alanında kendini gösteren toplumsal cinsiyet kod veöğretileri, dil yoluyla edebiyata da sızmıştır. Toplumsal sorunları okumanın bir yoluda o toplumun edebi metinlerine bakmaktır. Bireyin eğitim sürecinde ilk karşısınaçıkan ürünler çocuk edebiyatı eserleri olduğu için çocuk edebiyatı toplumsaldeğerlerin verilmesinde ve toplumsal cinsiyet algısının kazandırılmasında önemligörevler üstlenir. Çocuk tarafından birden içselleştirilemeyen değerler, eğitimortamında basılı ve görsel ürünlerle içselleştirilir. Bu içselleştirmede çocukedebiyatının yeri şüphesiz çok önemlidir. Bu sebeple bu çalışmanın amacı; 1970sonrası çocuk edebiyatının `geleneksel`, `modern` ve `çeviri` tahkiyeli metinlerindebulunan toplumsal cinsiyet kod ve öğretilerini tespit ederek, çocuk edebiyatındatoplumsal cinsiyetin nasıl konumlandırıldığını belirlemek ve eğitime yansımalarınıdeğerlendirmektir.Çalışmada bu amaç doğrultusunda önce toplumsal cinsiyet kavramları,kuramları incelenmiş, çocuk edebiyatının kapsam ve işlevi araştırılmış, `geleneksel`,`modern` ve `çeviri` çocuk edebiyatından seçilen tahkiyeli eserler betimsel analiz veiçerik analizi yöntemleri kullanılarak incelenmiştir.Elde edilen sonuçlara göre incelenen tahkiyeli metinler arasında en çokgeleneksel tahkiyeli metinlerde toplumsal cinsiyet kod ve öğretilerine (meslek,mekân, eylemler, görünüş ve kişilik özellikleri vb.) rastlanmıştır. Modern ve çeviritahkiyeli metinlerde ise toplumsal cinsiyet kalıp yargıları yok denecek kadar azdır veaksine bu metinlerde toplumsal cinsiyet kod ve öğretilerine karşı bir bilinç ve eleştirisöz konusudur.Anahtar Kelimeler: Toplumsal Cinsiyet ve Eğitim, Cinsiyet, Çocuk Edebiyatı, Gençlik Edebiyatı | |
dc.description.abstract | This study named Reflections Of Gender Codes and Doctrines In Children'sLiterature On Education includes the fictional texts of the authors who had`Traditional`, `Modern` and `Translated` literary works in children's literature after1970.Distribution of the roles of women and men, girls and boys is one of theimportant reasons of the emerging issues related to gender in society. Social gendercodes and doctrines that appear in every aspect of life also infiltrate into the literatureby language. Another way of observing the social problems is to take a look at theliterary texts of the society. Children's Literature takes important charge in teachingsocial values and gender perception because the Works of Children's Literature are thefirst texts the individuals meet within the process of education. The values that the childcan't be interiorized immediately are achieved with the help of printed and visualproducts in educational environment. In this interiorizing process, it is surely beyonddoubt that the contribution of Children's literature is very important. Therefore, thepurpose of this study is to determine the social gender codes and doctrines in`Traditional`, `Modern` and `Translated` narrative texts, stating how social gender islocated in Children's Literature and also evaluating the reflections of it to the education.In the line with this objective, first, the terms and theories of gender wereinspected in this study, the content and the function Children's Literature wereresearched and the narrative works selected from `Traditional`, `Modern` and`Translated` Children's Literature were analysed by using Descriptive Analysis andContent Analsis Methods.According to the results, among the narrative texts that were inspected, gendercodes and doctrines (gender rate, professions, locations, physical and personal qualities,etc.) were mostly found in traditional narrative texts.
