Suzan Albek'in çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinin değerler eğitimi açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Suzan Albek'in çocuk edebiyatı alanındaki eserlerinde verilmek istenen değerleri tespit etmek ve bunların değerler eğitimi açısından önemini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada Suzan Albek tarafından kaleme alınmış iki roman, üç öykü, bir anı ve üç tiyatro eserinden meydana gelen bir bütünce incelenmiştir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden mülakattan faydalanılmış, literatür taraması ve içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde kuramsal çerçeve, ikinci bölümde Suzan Albek'in hayatı, edebî kişiliği ve eserleri, üçüncü bölümde ise Suzan Albek'in eserlerindeki değerler eğitimi ile ilgili bulgular ortaya konmuş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Belirlenen bu eğitsel değerler; evrensel, millî, dinî, kişisel ve ahlaki değerler olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. Eserler, belirlenen bu değerler açısından tek tek taranmış ve elde edilen bulgular örneklerle sunulmuş, tablolarla desteklenmiştir. İnceleme sonucunda bütüncede en çok rastlanılan değerin yardımlaşma ve paylaşma olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu değeri sırasıyla sevgi, sorumluluk, merhamet izlemiş; sabırlı olma ve alçak gönüllülük ise en az rastlanılan değerler olmuştur. İncelenen eserlerde değerler eğitimi açısından olumsuz örnek teşkil edebilecek iletilere rastlanılmamıştır.

The aim of this research is to determine the values that are wanted to be given in Suzan Albek's works in the context of children's literature and to reveal their importance in terms of values education. In the study, a corpus consisting of two novels, three stories, a memoir and three theater works written by Suzan Albek was examined. In the study, interview one of qualitative research methods, was used, literature review and content analysis were made. The research consists of three parts. In the first part, the theoretical framework, in the second part Suzan Albek's life, literary personality and works, and in the third part, the findings related to the values education in Suzan Albek's works were presented and evaluated. These determined educational values were; It was classified as universal, national, religious, personal and moral values. The works were scanned one by one in terms of these determined values, and the findings were presented with examples and supported by tables. As a result of the examination, it was determined that the most common value in the corpus was cooperation and sharing. This value is followed by love, responsibility, compassion; Being patient and humality were the least common values. In the examined works, no messages that could constitute a negative example in terms of values education were found.
