Batı Sanatına EtkisiFerhat KabakaşYüksek Lisans Tezi, Sanat ve Tasarım Anasanat Dalı, İstanbul Kemerburgaz ÜniversitesiDanışman: Prof. Dr. Bünyamin ÖzgültekinSanat tarihinin önemli isimlerinden olan Vincent Van Gogh, 1853-1890 yılları arasında yaşamış ve dünyaya sayısız güzel eser bırakmış izlenimci bir ressamdır.Vincent, zor bir çocukluk ve gençlik geçirmesine rağmen kendi düzen kavramını resimlerine yansıtmıştır.Artık çizimlerinde gitgide belirsizleşen dış çizgiler ve başat çizgilerde akıcı bir geçişkenlik görülmüştür. Van Gogh, noktacı tekniklerden yola çıkarak kendi uslubunu bu sırada geliştirmiştir.Van Gogh'un dışavurum gücünü araştırma çabası resim tarzına da yansımış, konturlar yerine hacim, kütle ve yaşayan bir derinliği ön plana çıkarmıştır.Ünlü sanatçının resimleri Fovistlere ilham vermiş, resimlerde olduğu gibi Ekspresyonizmin de öncülerinden kabul edilmiştir. Van Gogh'un bazı resimleri ise dünyanın en değerli resimleri arasında yer almaktadır. Üstelik Van Gogh'un sözü edilen bu başarısı 20.yy en önemli ressamlarından biri olmasını da sağlamıştır. Van Gogh, Paris'te olduğu dönemde, ileri bir tutum benimseyen herkes kendisini izlenimci olarak görüyordu. Bu terim Monet'nin 1874'teki bir grup izlenimci sergisinde yer alan 'gün doğumu' adlı tablosundan kaynaklanır.Çizgi, rengin, biçim kulanımında ki etkisi üzerinde yaptığı denemeleri ve araştırmalarında Empresyonist sanatçılarına fark atmıştır. Van Gogh, Fovizm ve Ekspresyonizmin yolunu açarak, çağdaş sanata katkılarda büyük payı olan büyük bir ressamdır.20.yy.da büyük etkiler yaratmıştır, gerek çizdiği resimler gerek kullandığı metodlar yönünde 20. yy.ın en büyük sanatçısıydı. Van Gogh daima sonsuzu arayışından bahseder. Some of Van Gogh's pictures were the most expensive and appreciated pictures of the world.Furthermore his mentioned success provided him that he became one of the most important artists of the 20th century. While Van Gogh was in Paris all of the people who had the advanced attitude was seeing theirselves as the impressionist. This term comes from painting which is called as `sunrising` and it was at the exhibition of Monet which is called as `a group of impressionists` in 1874.His place was ahead of the impressionists with his experiments and researches related that drawing and colours have effects on shape usage. Van Gogh who was such an artist opened the way for Fovizm and Expressionism and he contributed lots of things to the modern art and he was a great artist.In the 20 th century he cretaed big affects, expecially with his drawings and his methods and he was the best artist of the 20 th century.
