Açılım yapmış gay ve lezbiyen birey ailelerinin geçirdiği evrelerin aile sistem teorisine göre açıklanması

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, açılım yapmış gay ve lezbiyen birey ailelerinin geçirdiği evrelerin aile sistem teorisine göre açıklanması ve stres, travma gibi faktörlerin ortaya konulması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, İstanbul'da ikamet eden rastgele örneklem metodu ile seçilen, 88 açılım yapmış gay ve lezbiyen ailesi çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Veri toplama araçları olarak Aile Değerlendirme Ölçeği (ADÖ), Travmatik Stres Belirtileri Ölçeği (TSBÖ), Stresle Başa Çıkma Tarzları Ölçeği (SBÇTÖ) ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 23.00 programı aracılığı ile analiz edilmiştir.Araştırmada elde edilen genel bulgulara göre aile tipinin ve problem çözme, iletişim, rol dağılımları gibi aile içi unsurların açılım sonrasındaki süreci etkilediği gözlemlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte; açılım öncesindeki şüphe, çocuğun açılım yaşı, eğitim düzeyi ve ebeveyn yaşının açılım sonrasındaki süreç üzerinde manidar etkiler oluşturduğu tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, explanation of phases that families of gay and lesbian indivudis face according to the family system theory is aimed. On the other hand, exposing the factors like stress and truma that occurs at the time of confession are also aims of the study. For this purpose, 88 gay and lesbian families that lives in Istanbul selected by random sampling method. Family Assessment Questionnaire (FAQ), Traumatic Stress Symptoms Scale (TSSS), Stress Coping Scale (SCS) and Personal Information Form which is developed by the researcher were used as data collection tools. Datas were analyzed by SPSS program 23.00.According to the general findings of the study, family type and domestic factors such as problem solving, communication, casting effect the process of coming-out. On the other hand; suspicions before coming-out, coming-out age, education level and the age of parent are the other factors which have significiant effects on coming-out process.
