Parmaksız Yakup(Kısa film)

Abstract

Bu proje, Mine Söğüt'ün ''Deli Kadın Hikâyeleri'' romanından uyarlanmış ve kısa filme konu olmuştur. Bir edebi eser başka bir yaratıcı süreç ile birleşip, sinema diline uygun hale getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ana karakter Yakup, doğuştan parmağı eksik doğmuş bir gençtir. Yakup'un babası, onun bu durumunu kabul etmekte zorlanan ''hasta bir birey olarak '' karşımıza çıkar. Yakup'un annesi ise baba ile oğul arasındaki bağların tamamen koptuğunun bilinci ile çaresiz bir durumdadır. Film bir aile dramı olmasının yanı sıra birbirlerine tamamen soyutlanmış günümüz insanının yaşadığı içsel problemleri de içermektedir.

This film (project) is based on the novel of Mine Söğüt, Deli Kadın Hikayeleri and the subject of the film is adapted from it. This Project aimed to rewrite a piece of literature in the language of cinema which is another creative prosess. The main character Yakup is a young man who was born with a missing finger. Yakup's father, who has a hard time facing that reality is shown as '' a troubled individual '' in this film. Yakup's mother feels desperate and helpless knowing that the bond has been broken between son and father. Besides representing a family dram , this film also includes the contemporary problem of human being , alienation from each other and society .
