Katalaz aktivitesi üzerine lambda cyhalothrin ve fenthion pestisitlerin etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, lambda cyhalothrin ve fenthion pestisitlerin sığır karaciğer katalaz (CAT) enzim aktivitesi üzerine olan etkisi incelenmiştir. CAT aktivitesi, 0 ppm'den 500 ppm'e artan lambda cyhalothrin ve fenthion pestisit derişimi ile inhibisyona uğramıştır. Lambda cyhalothrinin 25, 50, 100, 250 ve 500 ppm etkisinde CAT enzim aktivitesindeki yüzde azalışların sırasıyla 3,4; 11,7; 12,7; 21,2 ve 22,5 olduğu hesaplanmıştır. Fenthionun 25, 50, 100, 250 ve 500 ppm etkisinde CAT enzim aktivitesindeki yüzde azalışların sırasıyla 4,6; 6,2; 6,7; 17,1 ve 19,9 olduğu hesaplanmıştır. Lambda cyhalothrinin CAT'ı yarışmasız (nonkompetitif) olarak inhibe ettiği, fenthionun CAT'ı yarışmalı (kompetitif) olarak inhibe ettiği belirlenmiştir.

In this study, effect of lambda cyhalothrin and fenthion pesticides on bovine liver catalase (CAT) activity was investigated. CAT activity was inhibited by increasing lambda cyhalothrin and fenthion pesticides concentrations from 0 ppm to 500 ppm. Under the exposure of 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 ppm lambda cyhalothrin concentrations, percent of CAT enzyme activity decreases were calculated as 3.4; 11.7; 12.7; 21.2 and 22.5, respectively. Under the exposure of 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 ppm fenthion concentrations, percent of CAT enzyme activity decreases were calculated as 4.6; 6.2; 6.7; 17.1 and 19.9, respectively. Lambda cyhalothrin inhibited CAT non-competitively and fenthion inhibited CAT competitively.
