Mu`tezili inanç sisteminde `el-Emru Bi`l-Ma`ruf ve`n-Nehyu-Ani`l-Münker` prensibi

Abstract

70 SUMMARY Arabic `el-Emru bi'l-Ma'ruf ve'n-Nehyu ani'1-Mûııker` enjoining what is proper or good and forbidding what is reprehensible or evil one of the princible religious duties in Islam. The Koran addresses the Muslim stating `You are the best communitiy brought forth for manking, enjoining what is proper and forbidding what is reprehensible and believing in God`(Al-i İmran, 3/110). For importance of this principle all Muslim school has different interpretations. According Sünnî doctrine, there are different ideas in this subject. But commeu tendency is that el-Emru bi'1-Ma'ruf ve'n-Nehyu ani'l-Münker seen as an ethic principle. İn Haricî interpretation, the principle was commonly espoused like a movement of revolt according the goverment. Şiâ connect this principle to permission of the İmam. Mu'tezile, taught that ordering what is proper and forbidding what is reprehensible is obligatory with the tongue, hand and sword according to one's ability. They held that the Muslims are obligated to remove the unjust ruler or pretender by force if they are able to do so. İn our study, we try to search the Mutezile interpretation about üıis principle and the history of this in Mutezile doctrine.
