Abstract

Ill ABSTRACT In this research which consists of four pans. Theft and it's sanctions have been studied comparatively in both Turkish Criminal Cotie and Islamic Law In the first part the concept of theft a i a crime, is defined in general. The elements which Constitute theft crime are described according to Islamic Law in the second part. In the third part of this research the contents and scope of this crime and the punishments to be given for this crime are evaluated according to Islamic Law. Theft crime is studied according to Turkish Criminal Code in the fourth part of this work and the research is concluded with a suiiimary part.
