dc.description.abstractEgypt, which was conquared and became of Islamic lands during the reign of Hz. Ömer, is also öne of the important countries having essential Turkish culture. Previously governend by the governors, called `et-TürkT who are dependent on Abbasis, Egypt is also the homeland of the fırst Turkish states in this region. Indirectly, it is where the first architectural works take place with Samerra. Egypt, later on, became the place of Mağribi architecture, and influenced by architectural tradition of The Great Seljuks in the period of Eyyûbi and Mamluk. in Egypt, which was conquared by the Ottomans in the fırst quarter of the XVI. century, It's possible to see the traces of Turkish art which is brought up to the top by the Ottomans and shaped by the Seljuks in Anotolia. Mosques, inns, baths, tekkes, tombs, medressehs, palaces, mansions which are the decorative factors of Egypt belong to Egypt and in the XVI* and XVII01 centuries, the works reflect the Ottoman style from the architectural vierhpöinFblıFare impressed by^the Mamluks vvîth respect to decoration. in the period of Mehmet Ali Pasha and his grandsons, XIX* century, the construction and decoration style of the Ottoman is predominant. Possibly, it can be said that Mehmet Ali Pasha willing to leave the Ottomans, approached the state from the artistic viempoint, even contributed the Ottoman art in a large scale.
