dc.description.abstract81 SUMMARY The relations of friendship and enmitywich have a great importance among the peoplewere depended on the race superiority and personal advantages in the time of pre-İslamic Arabian paganism. Furthermore, at that time, since there wasn't a governmenr system to settle dovn the justice and to remove the bad acts caused enmity, the profit straggles and fights among people could cause great hostility. Islamic Religion which was revenled to bring out humanity to illumination from the darkness of ignorance gave a nevdimension to this relation It made a funda mental chance in the friendship and enmity perceptiveness of pre-Islamic Arabian paganism and brought some nev*norms towhich muslims should folloVon that field. The most important one of these rales is 'to lcwefor Allah and to hate for Allah.' Another important principal is not to have friends from people men they are close relatives who nurse grundy and enmity against İslam and muslims andwho perform activity against islamwhen aver they find an aportunity. Besides, it was alloved to have relationswith the people from other religions and governments that don't perform destructive activity agains İslam with the condition of grewenting human rights and justice in determined principals and responses. If the foes of İslam go into any preparetion to shoiytheir enmity against İslam and muslims, that time, İslam orders its people to be in the preparetion of wery kind including var, against. Human beings is a social-creature living in a society. So he or she has to settle do*m some relation and to continue this relation with the others of his or her kind. Friendship and enmity relations take a big importance in human life. Not to be dissappointed in these relations, some one should knowhis or her friends enemies wery well and while continuing these relations someone should folloMi^he rules and principles that İslam considers.en_US
