dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Purpose of this study is Lesson in the primary education the Republic Period his evalution acording to the applied and published programes changes parts of this lesson's purpose, subject and explanations are produced by literature comb method. There are five chapters in this study. In the first chapter; Problem, Problem Situation, Problem sentence, Method and Datum interpret subjects have been operated so this resarch had been studred to definite. II. In the second chapter under the headline Primary Education's general situation in the Republic Period that Primary Education Period that Primary Education, describe of Primary Education, his coverage and legal bases, Purposes; historical development and subjects in the primary education are examinationed. III. in the third chapter of study social Knowledge, describe of the Social Knowledge his coverage, Social Sciences and Social Knowledges, his benefit fields and his education has been studied to product. IV. in the fourth chapter in 1930, 1936, 1948, 1962, 1968 programes in the 1977, 1990 and 1993 dated written notice periodicals purposes,` `Subjects` and about `How this lesson must operate, subjects of social Knowledges Lesson and changes of the explanation have been studied to definite by compare. V. in the fifth chapter there are abstract of the this resarch and arrival result of resarch. Like the point off in study stage of the primary education in the Republic Period 1924, 1926, 1930, 1936, 1948 years and is known last two numbers of these years primary school programes had been published. 1924 programe is transition term to Republic so targets of Republic Period and from don't reflect his politics and this programe has been out of work. Besides 1926 programe is most comprehensive programe of the Republic so the resarch has been started with this programe but between 26 programe and 1930 programe has been estabilished none difference.86 After from 30 programe in the 1936 programe as regards both purpose and subject has been changed so the resarch is containing all the changes and developments from 1930 programe until nowaday. In the resarch by source comb method result of datum interpret all the arrival results are arranged on the follow by items. 1. From the first years of Republic until 1962 primary school programe is published and carry out so in this term instead of Social Knowledger Lesson; History, Georaphy and Citizenship Knowledge Lessons are operated by different each other. 2. in rough draft of 1962 primary school Programe these three lessons are exist and these lessons are united with name of `Society and Country Examinations` and after in 1968 name of this lesson has been Social Knowledge by 68 programe. 3. In 1974-75 education year acording to the decisions of the National Education, the Social Knowledge Lesson has been gone to change after with this change a new programe happened and this programe had been by positive reactions a good programe that, from mowe ability and interest of students, gave to child relativity, from near to far, from concrete to abstract and from know to unknow. 4. After from 1980 Kemalism Threat and National Power Elements in the Kemalist Doctrine subjects are added to Social Knowledges programe. In the 1990 and 1993 years has been gone to change about this programe. 5. changer about 1936 programe the Republic Nation Party has been most effective. 6. Result of the 1926 programe newness, Although 1,2,3 classes are unit and whole thelessons add the round of the Life Information, in the Social Knowledge some change could have been almost 42 years later. That collect instruction and unity subjects are mostsuitable for age of the primary education students. 7. Both History, Georaphy, Citizenship Knowledge Lesson's purposes and Social Knowledges Lesson's purposes want to much activity for necessary arrival purpose so it isn't possible to arrive these purposes for age group of this students even in to 8 years.87 8. in the contemporary educations most effective way to arrive purpose is target-behavior and in the primary education behavior of alot of lessons had been development but for Social Knowledge lesson behaviors didrit determine so it has been happened lack. 9. social Knowledge Lesson's contain from first period of Republic until nowaday has been chosen from History, Geeoraphy and Citizenship Knowledge Lessons, Subject of History is `Turkish History`, Georaphy's, `Turkey Georaphy` and Citizenship Knowledge7s subject is `Direction Building of Turkey` and origin and basic fountain of these lessons are `Turk Nation and Kemalism` other interest subjects of these lessons are produced with doctrines in the above consepts. 10. Origin purpose of Social Knowledges (Sosyal Bilgiler) Lesson is educate good citizen and profile of this citizen has been drawn, too. He know his duty and responsibilitier and obey to necessaries of this. He is obedient isn't `active citizen` that know his justices but make his duties, by self sacrifice and `passive citizen` that obey the laws and government outhority. 1 1. From Republic Period until nowaday in the arranged programes there are Scientific, Nationalism, Republicanism, Freedom, Virtuous, Country, Nation and love of Family and in the 1948 programe also Democracy has been added them. 12. Generally primary education programe specially in Social Knowledge programe be pointed out basic pragmatist philosophy but acording to the education scientists this state on the paper is pragmatist at the carry out is realist and idealist sometime they had put forward that it is not definite with which courent interest. 13. When the programe prepared doctrine and rules of the improve programe was nearly obeyed but can say that large generally didrit obey to that. 14. social Knowledge Programe has left the educate purpose `Citizen` state of it is only prepared student the upper education. 15. Acording to the nowaday situation to `Human Justices and Democracy Education` subject must have been given.16. If Social Knowledge Programe is trying to change each fifteen or twenty years this state show us that can say this programe isn't replaying necessities of this time. 17. Could say that from parts of explanations ad subjects in this programe had been used expression and question-answer methods that other methods and techniques had not used. The Finally Social Knowledge programe is for from considerate of the contemporary education and can say that it is behind of the changes and developments in the society.en_US
