76 8.SUMMARY The mosque, known as Hüsreviye or Kurşunlu among people, was built by the governor-general of Van, Hüsrev Paşa, in the 675(1 567).This mosque is registered at the 72, row among the mosques, built up by Mimar Sinan. Together with engraving, done on the plaster, the ornament of the tile on the lower parts of the mosque were applied in the interior decoration with a unigue unity. At the end of some researches the motifs and the compositions which reflect only the characteristics of XVI and XTX centories were found under the plaster. On the one hand, we tried to examine the importance of these ornaments, found under the plaster, on the structure of mosque on the other hand we tried to display the technique, material, motif, composition and the style of these engravings with a keen observation. At the some time we tried to complete the compositions and the motifs according to the remaining parts. Hüsrev Paşa mosque has been affected by all these changes from the time it was built to this day.Covered with gypsum plaster, mon the original or nomentations different styles of different times were used.At the some time, we wish that Hüsrev Paşa Mosque is restored according to its own unique style of ornamantation and architectore through time and it is saved as far as possible with its original style.
