Nizip`teki mimari eserler

Abstract

1116. ÖZETGaziantep ilinin doğusunda, il merkezine 45 km. uzaklıkta olan Nizip ilçesi 1348km2'lik yüz ölçüme sahiptir. Şanlıurfa- Birecik-Nizip-Gaziantep-Halep kervan yollarınınüzerindeki ilçe, stratejik olarak önemli bir yere sahiptir. Yazılı kaynaklarda ilk kez adınaArap kaynaklarında rastlanan Nizip'de günümüze kadar bir çok medeniyete ait izlergörülmektedir.Yüksek Lisans Tezi çalışma konusu olan Nizip'teki Mimari Eserler kapsamındaNizip ilçe merkezinde ve köylerinde bulunan camiler, kiliseler, sabunhaneler, evler,köprüler, mezar anıtları, bedestenler, hamamlar ve çeşmeler çalışılmıştır.Bu araştırma sonunda Nizip ilçe merkezinde ve köylerinde toplam 37 adetmimari eser tespit edilmiştir. Bu eserlerin çoğu ilçe merkezinde ve ilçenin kuzeyindekiköylerdedir. Yapıların dağılımı şöyledir; 16 cami, 2 kilise, 3 sabunhane, 7 ev, 3 köprü, 2türbe, 1 çeşme, 1 bedesten, 2 hamamdır.Çalışmanın ilk aşamasına, doküman ve kaynak toplamakla başlanılmıştır. Buçerçeve de bölge ile ilgili bugüne yayınlanan tüm eserlere ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.Ardından tez kapsamında 2004 Mart ayında bölgede arazi çalışmalarına başlanılmış, buçalışmalara 2004 Temmuz ve 2005 Temmuz aylarında devam edilmiştir. Araştırmalarsonucunda Nizip merkez ve köylerinde tespit edilen mimari eserlerin fotoğrafları vetümünün rölöve ölçümleri alınmıştır.Elde edilen bilgiler ışığında ilk olarak Nizip'in coğrafi konumu ve tarihçesihakkında kısaca bilgi verilmiştir. Tezin katalog bölümünde yapılar türlerine göreayrılarak çeşitli başlıklar altında tanıtılmıştır. Değerlendirme bölümünde yapılar eldekiveriler ışığında kendi aralarında benzerleri ile ve bölgedeki diğer benzer yapılar ilekarşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde yapıların genel bir tarifi ve özelliklerindenbahsedildikten sonra varılan sonuç kısaca belirtilmiştir.Nizip'teki mimari eserlerde en çok taş malzeme kullanılmış bunun yanındaahşap malzemeye de yer verilmiştir. Süslemeler taş süslemeler olup, geometrik, bitkisel,mukarnas ve yazı karakterlidir.lçedeki mimari eserlerde Türk ve Hıristiyan sanatlarının yanı sıra bölgesel veyöresel özelliklerde göze çarpmaktadır.Birinci derecede kentsel sit alanı ilan edilen ilçenin mimari eserleri hakkındaşimdiye kadar detaylı bir çalışma yapılmamış ve bu eserlerin çoğu literatüregeçirilmemiştir.

1126.1. SUMMARYNizip district, which is in the east of Gaziantep city, 45 km. away from citycenter has 1348 km2 surface area. As the district is situated and the caravan joint road ofŞanlıurfa, Birecik, Nizip, Gaziantep, Halep it has a very important strategicalimportance.In Nizip, whose name was firstly faced in the written sources of Arab, there aremany traces belonging to different civilizations from the past up to the present time inthe study of this mastering thesis titled ?Architectural Works in Nizip? all thearchitectural Works in the centre of district and in is villages such as mosques, churches,soap making establishments, houses, bridges, grave stones, covered markets andhammams were investigated.As a result of the study; it is determined that there are totally 37 architecturalworks in the Nizip centre and in its villages. Most of these works are in the city centreand in north villages of centre. There are 16 mosques, 2 churches, 3 soap makingestablishments, 7 houses, 3 bridges, 2 grave stones, 1 water fountain 1 covered marketand 2 hammams.As a first step, I started by picking sources and documents up. I tried to searchall the books which have been published until now. I began to observe the area in 2004March. I continued until 2004 july and 2005 July . At the end, I took photographs andmeasurements of all the architectural Works (buildings) which I could find during thesurface investigation.According to the knowledge I acquired, I first gave a short information about thegeopraphical position and the history of N Z P. In the catalogue chapter of the theses, allthe Works were categorized according to their types and tried to be explained underdifferent titles.n the evaluation chapter; the Works were compared with the similar onesanother among themselves and with the other similar works that exist in the regionaccording to their types. In the last chapter, after a general definition of the works weregiven and talked about their characteristic features, the achieved result was shortlystated.Mostly stone materials were used, besides wood and brick materials in thearchitectural works in Nizip. The decorations on the works are stone ornaments with thechacter of geometrical, vegetal, stalactites and writing.On the architectural Works in the city, not only the arts of Turkish, or Christianexist but also local and regional properties are striking.These architectural works are declared very important historical buildings and113taken under protection-But these works have never been examined in detail and mostof them haven?t been taken place in the architectural literature.
