Vansesi Gazetesi(1948-1960)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Van yerel basınında Vansesi Gazetesi?nin 1948-1960 yılları arasındaki yayınları incelenmiştir. 1937?de ilk olarak Yeni Yurd Van Gazetesi adıyla yayınına başlayan Vansesi Gazetesi?nin içeriği konularına göre tasnif edilerek ele alınmıştır.1948-1960 yılları arasında Vansesi Gazetesi?nde ağırlıklı olarak yerel haberler üzerinde durulmuş, bununla birlikte farklı haber ve konulara da yeterli düzeyde yer verilmeye çalışılmıştır. İlgili tarihler gerek ulusal gerek bölgesel ve uluslararası gelişmeler açısından dikkate değer değişimlerin yaşandığı bir dönemdir. Bu sebeple Vansesi Gazetesi yayın politikası ve haber anlayışıyla bu döneme dair önemli bir tarihi vesika arşivi olarak değerlendirilmelidir.Vansesi Gazetesi?nin belirtilen tarihlerde toplumu yönlendirmek ve bazı hususlarda manipüle etmek gibi bir eğilim içinde olduğu söylenebilir. Bunun yanında basın ve iktidar ilişkilerinin olduğu kadar dönemin sosyal ve siyasi kültürünün de gazeteye yansıdığı görülmektedir. İlyas Kitapçı tarafından kurulan ve Van?da Cumhuriyet Dönemi'nin ilk gazetesi olarak yayın hayatına başlayan gazete günümüzde de yayımını sürdürmektedir.

This study examines the period from 1948 to 1960, of ?Vansesi Gazetesi? newspaper of the local Van press. Beginning its publications in 1937, with the name of ?Yeni Yurd Van Gazetesi?, Vansesi Gazetesi has been examined in this study with classifying method according to its content. Between the years of 1948-1960 Vansesi Gazetesi focused on local news, but it also tried to introduce different news and subjects. This time represents a period of significant changes and developments on national, local and international levels. Thus, Vansesi Gazetesi should be considered as a historical document archive of this period with its publication policy and journalism concept.It can be said that Vansesi Gazetesi had a tendency of leading the society and manipulating it about some subjects during this period. Meanwhile the socio-political culture of the time was reflected to the newspaper as much as the relationship between press and authority. The newspaper, founded by İlyas Kitapçı and being the first newspaper of Republic period in Van is continuing its publication today.
