dc.description.abstractÖZ Bu çalışmada, NIDDM'li 30 hasta (11 tanesi erkek, 19 tanesi kadın ) ile herhangi bir klinik şikayeti ve bulgusu olmayan 30 sağlıklı şahısta (13'ü erkek, 17'si kadın ), Lp (a), plazma kolinesteraz, apo A, apo B, glukoz, trigliserid, total kolesterol, HDL-kolesterol, LDL- kolesterol, Hb Aıc seviyeleri karşılaştırıldı. NIDDM'li şahıslar glisemik kontrol altında olan hastalardı. Kontrol grubunda lipoprotein (a) seviyesi 20.4 mg/dl, P. Kolinesteraz 3808 M, apo A 135 mg/dl, apo B 140.9 mg/dl, glukoz 78.05 mg/dl, trigliserid 118.7 mg/dl, T. Kolesterol 208.4 mg/dl, HDL-kolesterol 44.62 mg/dl, LDL-kolesterol 140.4 mg/dl, Hb Aıc % 5.33 olarak bulunurken, hasta grubumuzda lipoprotein düzeyi 13.7 mg/dl, P. Kolinesteraz 4331 ü/l, apo A 138 mg/dl, apo B 167.6 mg/dl, glukoz 186.4 mg/dl, trigliserid 178 mg/dl, Total kolesterol 209.4 mg/dl, HDL-kolesterol 44.64 mg/dl, LDL-kolesterol 133.6 mg/dl, Hb Aıc % 9.72 olarak bulunmuştur. Bulguların istatistiksel karşılaştırılmasında NIDDM'li hastalarda Lp (a), apo A, HDL- kolesterol, LDL-kolesterol, T. Kolesterol seviyeleri kontrollere göre değişmezken; P. Kolinesteraz, Apo B, Glukoz, Trigliserid, Hb Aıc, seviyelerinin kontrollerden yüksek olduğu görüldü. Sonuç olarak, glisemik kontrol altında olan NIDDM'li hastalarda her ne kadar ateroskleroz yönünden risk oluşturan bazı parametreler kontrol altına alınmış gibi görülse bile, bu hastaların yine de sağlıklı şahıslardan daha yüksek ateroskleroz riskine sahip oldukları söylenebilir. Yine NIDDM'li hastalarda kontrollere göre serum Lp (a) seviyelerinin istatistiksel olarak, kontrollere göre değişmemesi, Lp (a)'nın glisemik kontrolle regülasyonunun sağlanabileceğini yada tamamen diyabetten bağımsız bir parametre olarak genetik kontrol altında bulunduğu şeklindeki görüşleri destekler niteliktedir. Dolayısıyla diyabetik hastalarda Lp (a) seviyesindeki değişikliklerin mahiyetini belirlemede daha ileri çalışmalar yapılması gerektiği kanaatindeyiz. dc.description.abstractABSTRACT In this study Lp (a), p. Cholinesterase, apo A, apo B, glucose, trigliserid, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, Hb Aic levels were compared in 30 patient with NIDDM (of whom 1 1 were men and 19, were women) and 30 healthy persons (of whom 13 were men and 17, were women) which did not have any sempthom or sign. Patient with NIDDM were under fallow-up for glycemia. Lp (a) level was found 20.4 mg/dl, p. Cholinesterase 3808 ü/l, apo A 135 mg/dl, apo B 140.9 mg/dl, glucose 78.05 mg/dl, trigliserid 118.7 mg/dl, t. Cholesterol 208.4 mg/dl, HDL- cholesterol 44.62 mg/dl, LDL-cholesterol 140.4 mg/dl, Hb Aic %5.33 in control group, whereas Lp (a) level was found 13.7 mg/dl, P. Cholinesterase 4331 ü/l, apo A 138 mg/dl, apo B 167,6 mg/dl, glucose 186.4 mg/dl, trigliseride 178 mg/dl, total cholesterol 209.4 mg/dl, HDL-cholesterol 44.64 mg/dl, LDL-cholesterol 133.6 mg/dl, Hb Aic % 9.72 in patient groups. In statistical comparison of the findings obtained from NIDDM patients and control group, Lp (a), apo A, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, total cholesterol levels in NIDDM patient were not different from control group; but p.cholinesterase, apo B, glucose, trigliseride, Hb Aic levels were found higher than control group. In conclusion in NIDDM patients which were under close follow-up in view of glycemia, even though some parameters appears to be well controlled, it may be said that these patients have higher aterosclerotic risk than healthy persons. The fact that NIDDM patients did not have statistical different serum Lp (a) levels compared to control group supports the idea that regulation or Lp (a) is an independent parameter from diabetes which may be under genetic control therefore, are in such an opinion that some prospactive studies should be performed to determine of the differences in Lp (a) levels in diabetic patients.
