Lise öğrencilerinin suça eğilimleri ile akademik öz yeterlik ve sosyal ilişki unsurlarının incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, liselerde okuyan öğrencilerin görüşleri doğrultusunda suça eğilimleri, sosyal ilişki ve akademik öz yeterlik durumları değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın evrenini Kahramanmaraş ilinin Türkoğlu ilçesindeki okullarda eğitim görmekte olan 1 Anadolu Lisesi, 1 Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi,1 Mesleki Teknik Eğitim Merkezi ve 2 Çok Programlı Lise olmak üzere toplam 5 lise bulunmaktadır. Bu liselerde okuyan öğrenci sayısı toplam 3178'dir.Araştırmada Suça Eğilim Ölçeği, Akademik Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği ve Sosyal İlişki Unsurları Ölçeği anketleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizinde; frekans ve yüzde hesaplamaları yapılmış, cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, gelir düzeyi okul türü ve puan değişkenlerinde katılımcıların görüşlerinin ortalamalarına, standart sapmalarına gruplar arasında ilişkisel durumlarına bakılmıştır. Bu ilişkide iki gruba sahip olan cinsiyet değişkeninde t-testi, ikiden fazla grubu olan değişkenlerde ise Tek yönlü varyans analizi ve Scheffe testi yapılmıştır. Bu istatistiki işlemler faktör ve toplam madde boyutunda ele alınarak analiz edilmiştir. Lise öğrencilerinin suça eğilimlerinin akademik öz yeterlik ve sosyal ilişki unsurları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek için korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda lise öğrencilerinin suça eğilim davranışının cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, gelir düzeyi, okul türü ve genel not ortalamaları değişkenlerinde, akademik öz yeterlik durumlarının cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, okul türü ve genel not ortalamaları değişkenlerinde, sosyal ilişki düzeylerinin ise cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, gelir düzeyi, okul türü, genel not ortalamaları değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin suça eğilimlerinin, akademik öz yeterlikleri ve sosyal ilişki unsurları arasında düşük düzeyde, negatif, anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca lise öğrencilerinin akademik öz yeterlik ve sosyal ilişki unsurları arasında düşük düzeyde pozitif anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Regresyon analizi sonucunda lise öğrencilerinin suça eğilim davranışlarının, akademik öz yeterlik ve sosyal ilişki düzeylerini anlamlı bir şekilde yordadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Suç, Suça Eğilim, Öz Yeterlik, Akademik Öz Yeterlik, Sosyal İlişki

The aim of this survey is to reveal the relationship between the varients of the high school students' crime tendencies, social relations and academic self-competence situations- according to their opinions. Five high schools like 1 Anatolian High School, 1 Anatolian Imam Hatip School, 1 Vocational and Technical Education Centre, and 2 Multi-programme High Schools in the county of Türkoğlu in Kahramanmaraş, constitute the scope of this survey. The number of the students at these schools is 3178.In this survey, the Crime Tendency Scale, Academic Self-competence Scale and The Scale of Social Relation elements, were applied. In the statistical analysis of the data obtained from the survey; the calculations of frequency and percentage were carried out, also in the variants of the gender, grade, income level, type of school and the score, the mean and the standard deviations of the opinions of the participants and the relational situations between the groups, were researched. In this relation, the T-test in the gender variant which has two groups, and a variance analysis (ANOVA) and Scheffe test in the variants which have more than two groups, were carried out. These statistical procedures were analyzed by being considered as the factor and the total material. A correlation analysis was carried out in order to examine the relation between the academic self-competence and social relation elements of the crime tendencies of the high school students.According to the consequence of the survey, it was observed that the high school students' gender, grade level, income level, type of school and grade point average variants of their crime tendency attitude, gender, grade level, type of school and GPA variants of their academic self-competence situations, as for the gender, grade level, income level, type of school, GPA variants of their social relations level- were seen totally different. The students' crime tendencies were the result such as a negative, meaningful relation at a low level between their academic self-competences and social relation elements. In addition, it was seen that a positive, meaningful relation at a low level between the academic self-competences and the social relation elements of the high school students took place. According to the result of the regression analysis, the crime tendency attitude of the high school students explicated the levels of the academic self-competence and social relations meaningfully.Key Words: Crime, Crime Tendency, Juvenile Delinquency, Self- Competence, Academic Self-Competence, Social Relations
