Şekeroğlu Mahallesi`nde bulunan Emir Ali Hanı`nın mimari ve şehirsel özelliklerinin araştırılması ve yeniden değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

İnsanlık tarihinin kültür ve uygarlık gelişimini gösteren kültür tarihi ve şehirlerin sahip oldukları tarihi dokuların gelecek kuşaklara aktarımı, şehrin milli kimliği ve kültürünü yansıtmak için önemli bir hazinedir. Günümüzde kentleşmenin getirdiği olumsuzluklar nedeniyle kültür tarihimizi yansıtan geleneksel doku giderek azalmaktadır. Kültür tarihimizin yok olmasını önlemek amacıyla tarihi yapılar yeterince değerlendirilerek yaşatılmalı, bu tarihi yapılardan gelecek kuşakların da yararlanabilmesi için tüm çalışmalar hızlandırılmalıdır.Yapılan çalışmada Şekeroğlu mahallesinde bulunan Emir Ali Hanı'nın mimari ve şehirsel özelliklerinin araştırılması ve yeniden işlevlendirilmesi çalışma konusu olmuş, konumuzun ilk aşamasında; alışveriş ile ticaretin gelişimi araştırılıp, günümüze kadar gelen ticari yapılar incelenmiş, geleneksel ticaretin tanımı, günümüze kadar olan ticari yapılar ve gelişim süreci ile Beylikler Döneminden Selçuklu Dönemine daha sonra Osmanlı Dönemine kadar hanların mekânsal gelişimi araştırılmış, Gaziantep İli'nin tarihi, fiziki, sosyal ve ticari özellikleri, Geleneksel Gaziantep hanları ile beraber araştırılmış, Emir Ali Han' ı bu anlamda değerlendirilmiştir.Yapılan Çalışmada Emir Ali Han'ın yeniden işlevlendirilmesi hedef belirlenmiş ve Gaziantep ticaret hayatına ve Gaziantep halkına kazandırılması sebebi ile önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Cultural history and historic structure of cities are an important treasure so as to reflect the national identity and culture of city, which shows history of humanity's culture and civilisation of development with transferring the next generations. Currently, the traditional structure which reflects the cultural history declines because of the bringing urbanisation's problems. Historical structures should be enough evaluated, kept alive in order to avoid the destruction of our historic cultural assets, all studies are speed up so as to be taken advantage to the next generations from these structures.This study illustrates that Emir Ali Han's architectural and urban features of investigating and functionalizing again where is in Sekeroglu neighborhood, which is become the subject of the study. In the first phase of our subject, the shopping with commerce of development is investigated, the extant of commercial buildings are examined, the definition of traditional commerce, the extant of commercial buildings and development process with from the period of principalities to Seljuk and from Seljuk to Ottoman Han's of spatial development is investigated, the city of Gaziantep history, physical, social and commercial features are investigated with the traditional Gaziantep Han so Emir Ali Han is evaluated with that meaning Regarding these points, the functionalizing of Emir Ali Han's again is set a target in that study and it is given suggestions to be brought in reason to Gaziantep commercial life and Gaziantep public.
